Wow. $199 for 3 APs? No ongoing support costs?

Jim, would you please ask one of those schools with the good reviews if we
could contact them (or they could contact us). We would love to hear the real
world experiences with the product.

I have deployed some Cisco AP541N access points. They can be grouped and
managed by updating only one AP and the others get the settings. This was a
less expensive route for me. Maybe it isn't as robust as having a central
management system, but it does what I need.

Am after more the integration that comes with them all being managed from one
place rather than lots of little units.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced wifi "switch" and access points? One
of those devices that manages connections to the attached end points and
handles people roaming between the coverage areas.

Doesn't need massive features just enough to handle 4 end points and 10 to 20
users.

If all you're looking for is roaming across access points, that will
happen automatically. Just give all the APs the same SSID and crypto
config, and put them all in the same broadcast domain (i.e., cable
them all to the same network switch (ordinary switch)).

I haven't really looked into it, but the centrally-located wireless
equipment designs I've seen use special APs, moving some intelligence
out of the AP and into the central equipment.
