Put it on a two-NIC system between the firewall and your LAN.

Stay away from the Re-Router on XP unless you've got a really beefy machine
to use.

Dive into the library - webalizer is one that looks like it might meet
your needs, but there are others.

There are many alternatives, and many of the are OSS.
