WSUS is set to download only when updates are approved.  I just approved
them so I'm not sure if they've made it to my server yet or not.

Stop the auto update service, delete the contents of 
c:\windows\softwaredistribtuion. Restart the service then from a command prompt 
  wuauclt.exe //resetauthorization /detectnow.
