[Nuke-users] Re: Write Node output result differs from Viewport result
I am on 6.3.6 X and have all files stored locally and 64GB of RAM... Maybe too much RAM assigned to PAINT? In my current settings its 60% Just lowered it to 30% and still the same. ___ Nuke-users mailing list Nuke-users@support.thefoundry.co.uk, http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users
[Nuke-users] Re: Write Node output result differs from Viewport result
I kinda nailed it down to the following: i have stuff rendered by the scanline renderer. and after that i am painting on top of it via ROTO paint. that shows up in the viewport fine. but as soon as I do a flipbook or render it the roto painted stuff disappears. and that happens in different comps which are all kinda based on one comp I created in the beginning. fun stuff is - when i render out the scanline result to a jpg sequence and load it in a complete new comp and copy paste the ROTO paint into that new comp it works fine... Comp settings are all the same. ___ Nuke-users mailing list Nuke-users@support.thefoundry.co.uk, http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users

[Nuke-users] Re: Write Node output result differs from Viewport result
All been rendered on a single machine and no network renders involved. Nuke 6.3.6 X used on MAC and on PC. Yeah - retiming usually (as paint nodes) lead to freak renders - but I am not having any of those in this comp ___ Nuke-users mailing list Nuke-users@support.thefoundry.co.uk, http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users
[Nuke-users] Write Node output result differs from Viewport result
Hey, i am having a fairly simple comp. Some 3D stuff some footage, some paint nodes. Nothing fancy. Problem is: In Nuke's viewport everything at every frame is completely correct as should. As soon as I output it via WRITE node the I am getting a different result compared to the viewport. I cant tackle it down which part of the tree causes the issue since everything looks fine in the tree. Nodes involved which might cause an issue are first and foremost the paint node and the scanline renderers. The stuff they generate just seem to be missing in the final output. What I tried to fix it: - deleted Disk Cache files - flushed buffers - rendered from local files - rendered from network files - put it from a PC to a MAC - tried to render JPG seq. - tried to render MOV - different output sizes - restarted the machines - copied from this sscript to a new empty one Anybody got a clue? [Nuke-users] Show footage version number in read node label
hey there, is there any easy way to have nuke display the version number of loaded footage in the label of a read node. Since almost all layers are provided by 3D i have to version up them whenever new renders are available. And to avoid missing out some read nodes it could be helpful to have the version of the loaded renderlayer displayed underneath the read node. therefore a script should parse the read folder and extract the v### and print that into the label. \\server\folder\v###\renderlayer.exr is that possible? my python / tcl knowledge is rather small :) the only topic i found so far was this one: http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3175&highlight=autolabel thx, Sebastian ___ Nuke-users mailing list Nuke-users@support.thefoundry.co.uk, http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users
