Try removing the 'product'/'serial'/'vendor'/'bus' lines from here: > [nutdev1] > driver = "blazer_usb" > port = "auto" > vendorid = "0001" > productid = "" > product = "ATCL FOR UPS" > serial = "ATCL FOR UPS" > vendor = "ATCL FOR UPS" > bus = "001" Then try again. (I'm not expecting it to work but.. who knows..) > Is there anything else I can try or just forget it? It could work with drivers 'nutdrv_atcl_usb' (available since NUT version 2.7.2) or with 'nutdrv_qx' (since 2.7.3). ___ Nut-upsuser mailing list Nut-upsuser@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser
[Nut-upsuser] Fry's Electronics UPS...
Hello, I am trying to get a "no-brand" (LMS DATA, model no LMSP1200RI) UPS to work with NUT. I now realise I should have checked compatibility with NUT before purchase. My other UPS (APC) works perfectly. Anyway, I have spent a good day trying to get this thing working. #lsusb Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0001: Fry's ElectronicsDevice Descriptor: bLength 18 bDescriptorType 1 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 8 idVendor 0x0001 Fry's Electronics idProduct 0x bcdDevice0.00 iManufacturer 1 ATCL FOR UPS iProduct1 ATCL FOR UPS iSerial 1 ATCL FOR UPS bNumConfigurations 1 Configuration Descriptor:bLength 9bDescriptorType 2wTotalLength 41bNumInterfaces 1 bConfigurationValue 1iConfiguration 0bmAttributes 0xe0 Self Powered Remote WakeupMaxPower 98mA Interface Descriptor: bLength 9 bDescriptorType 4 bInterfaceNumber0 bAlternateSetting 0 bNumEndpoints 2 bInterfaceClass 3 Human Interface Device bInterfaceSubClass 0 No Subclass bInterfaceProtocol 0 None iInterface 0HID Device Descriptor: bLength 9 bDescriptorType33 bcdHID 1.11 bCountryCode0 Not supported bNumDescriptors 1 bDescriptorType34 Report wDescriptorLength 32 Report Descriptors: ** UNAVAILABLE ** Endpoint Descriptor:bLength 7bDescriptorType 5 bEndpointAddress 0x81 EP 1 INbmAttributes3 Transfer TypeInterrupt Synch Type None Usage Type DatawMaxPacketSize 0x0008 1x 8 bytes bInterval 10 Endpoint Descriptor:bLength 7bDescriptorType 5bEndpointAddress 0x02 EP 2 OUTbmAttributes3 Transfer Type Interrupt Synch Type None Usage Type DatawMaxPacketSize 0x0008 1x 8 bytesbInterval 10Device Status: 0x (Bus Powered) Which doesnt give much useful information. I managed to get nut-scanner to work and got this output: [nutdev1]driver = "blazer_usb"port = "auto"vendorid = "0001"productid = ""product = "ATCL FOR UPS"serial = "ATCL FOR UPS"vendor = "ATCL FOR UPS"bus = "001" I am running Ubuntu 14.04 and using NUT version 2.73 installed from apt-get package.
