[nycwireless] Any device to extend router signal?

Hi guys I'm new to wireless and I'm getting a weak
signal from a router.  Is there some device that can
extend this signal?  Any links??

[nycwireless] Compatible wireless cards for Linux?

wireless cards for

I was wondering if anybody has used any of this cards
including the USB ones which I'm interested in using
for my Desktop PC.  Can anybody give any suggestions.

[nycwireless] Please Linux experts help me!

I got this SMC2662W USB wireless adapter and
downloaded the drivers for linux.  Currently I'm using
Fedora Core 1.  So, I think I installed the drivers
correctly.  But, when I try to run the utility which
is called fvnet I get  an error: ioct() failed.  What
is this?  Can someone please guide me through the
steps.

[nycwireless] Wireless Cards for Windows 95?

other day, it works fine.  The only problem is that
I'm having difficulties finding a compatible wireless
card for it.  Does anybody know about a compatible

[nycwireless] Wireless with Red Hat 8.0

Hi, I'm kind of a beginner in the wireless world -but
at least I'm able to connect wirelessly- I have RH8
with no updates because Red Hat no longer supports it.
 So I was wondering if it was safe to use RH8 to suft
the net.  I currently use a SMC wireless card to
connect to a linksys router.  I downloaded the driver
for RH8 but have not installed yet.  Has anyone tried
this?
