[nysbirds-l] Possible Flamingo sighting- Ulster County

I don’t see it having been reported here thus far:

There was a sighting report today at about 1:30 PM of a “large pink heron like 
bird with black underwings “ flying north along the Hudson River at Saugerties, 
Ulster County. 

Searchers spanned the river viewing points from Saugerties to Albany and beyond 
with no subsequent sightings. 

It would be worth checking suitable habitat sites in the upper Hudson Valley to 
see if this pans out.
