A quick ride along Dune Road this morning yielded a first winter Iceland Gull and a Great Egret feeding in the ditch along the north side of the road west of Tiana Beach, and a couple of Boat-tailed Grackles around the old Ponquogue Bridge parking area. One Common Raven was loudly announcing its presence from the water tower in Hampton Bays.
