Re: [nysbirds-l] Greater White-Fronted Geese in East Hampton, NY

2010-01-14 Thread Robert Lewis
I visited the Further Lane field in East Hampton today, Thursday, from around
2:15 to 2:45. I saw four immature Greater White-Fronted Geese. No Cackling
Geese.

This area is not so convenient for birding, as the road is fairly narrow.
Fortunately there is very little traffic. The only place to pull off is along
the north side, i.e. driving west. The White-Fronts were basically straight
out in the field from this spot.
