Don't feel too bad. Jean and I headed down to Jones beach after being
alerted to the goodies, and after dipping on the Caspian @ Flushing
Meadow. There were at least 7+ Black terns , and 2+ Skimmers there.
At Jones we were alerted to the parkies chasing off some cars, so we
didn't go to where a lot of good stuff was seen, instead trying field
10. There was shelter from the wind, and I saw one wilsons storm-peterel.
after another call, we got "braver" and met Eric, Jeff, Ian, and Donna
at the CGS @ west end 2. The highlight was a Sandwich tern Eric Spotted.
