[nysbirds-l] Riverhead Pink-footed Goose

2015-01-11 Thread Seth Ausubel
Shai Mitra called and asked me to post that he and others are now viewing the
Pink-footed Goose at a location it has not previously been reported. It is on
an athletic field on the east side of Roanoke Av. just north of Route 58. This
is near Merritt's Pond.

[nysbirds-l] Riverhead Pink Footed Goose

2015-02-28 Thread Kenton Gomez
Currently on Doctors path between Reeves and Sound avenue. After searching
multiple flocks in a couple mile radius I made one last attempt at my first
stop and he must have just arrived.

[nysbirds-l] Riverhead Pink-footed Goose - YES

2014-01-17 Thread Derek Rogers
John Shemilt just called. He just watched the Pink-footed Goose in flight,
as it exited the Reeve's Avenue Buffalo Farm. The goose was headed south.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to view geese in this field and birders
are restricted to watching from various roadside locations, none of which
offer clean views of the farm field.
Best,
Derek Rogers

[nysbirds-l] Riverhead Pink-footed Goose (YES)...

2014-01-18 Thread Andrew Baksh
The Pink-footed Goose was refound by Rich Gostic (sp) in a field off of
Sound Ave. Look for a sign with the name Village Imaculata (sp), which
take you down a dirt road. Note not far from Roanoke Ave.

The bird is being presently observed by many.
