Today at about 10 AM, I went over to the fields first to Sound/ Osborne, while there were only a few birds, I did see the Bairds with several Killdeer, which flew off to the west as I watched. No Golden plovers. Then I went to sod field East of Roanoke Vinyard, orignally saw nothing, but drove out in a dirt road next to the field to end of Grape Vines, where I found 3 Buff-breasted Sandpipers, next to a resting Golden plover and two Killdeer in the sod field to the east. I had fairly good views, took some fair photos, and if anyone would like to see them, just let me know and I will E mail them to you. Andy Murphy --
