Inadvertently left out of my report yesterday: 5/21: An adult male PAINTED BUNTING was seen and photographed at a feeder in Syracuse, Onondaga County. Unfortunately the bird was not relocated since. [nysbirds-l] Syracuse RBA - Addition
Extralimital 5/31: A MISSISSIPPI KITE has returned to a location in the Town of Root in Montgomery County south of Canajoharie where two were seen last year. The best viewing is in the area at the intersection of Mapleton and Donato Roads.It has been seen as recently as 6/6. Coincidently another MISSISSIPPI KITE, this one a first year bird, was seen flying over Ithaca in Tomkins County on 5/31 also.
