Just heard the escaped Eurasian Eagle-Owl is still in Central Park and is eating on it's own. Don't know why there was ever a question about if it would do that, but what the hey. I know it's an escape but still a wonderful bird to see. I wonder what will happen when the Great Horneds in the park discover it. Trouble in paradise. Also, heard they have given up trying to capture it. Andrew Andrew BlockConsulting Naturalist Yonkers, New York www.flickr.com/photos/conuropsis/albums --
