An adult Bald Eagle was seen at 7AM yesterday flying west, south of Shelter
Island between Mashomack and Sag Harbor.

There were at least half a dozen Pine Siskins on the feeder and the Red
Breasted Nuthatces there, have grown to three.

[nysbirds-l] from Shelter Island

Yesterday there was a very big movement of Tree Swallows from the NE into
the very brisk SW wind on Ram Island Causeway, which is on the NE tip of
Shelter Island. There were no migrants to be found anywhere.
This morning, as in the last four days a female Red-breasted Nuthatch was
in my bird bath.
Monday morning I saw four Greater Shearwater from my boat, a mile SE of
Montauk Point.
