Temen saya (bukan pemain saham) baru balik dari jalan-jalan ke California AS. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatannya, orang-orang Amrik ini luar biasa konsumtifnya. Satu keluarga empat orang punya empat mobil. Menurut dia, mungkin karena transportasi umumnya jelek banget, lebih jelek daripada negara-negara maju di Asia. Beli mobil di sana juga gampang sekali. Cukup dengan DP sedikit sudah bisa bawa pulang mobil. Mirip dengan kredit motor di desa-desa kita. Semua orang di sana sangat hobby ngutang dan dimanja kartu kredit. Makanya, kenaikan harga minyak dan kesulitan likuiditas bisa bikin efek berantai. Kita lihat saja, bagaimana negara adidaya ini keluar dari belitan resesi. Although there is a mild buying support but the market is still very weak. Many big fund and retailers still sold their position expecting the lower level. 2350 level is easily achieved today. Under this heavy selling it is not impossible to see the market to be in 2150 level soon.
