Which was why it was a question. And it's related to the wider question
of what the role of such an image should be.
(Personally, I wouldn't expect to interact with SAN drives from an
installer.
Often I would actually pull the cables out to make sure it wasn't possible.
The interesting case would be if people used FC drives as boot devices.)
