[Okular-devel] [Bug 226079] Reviews/annotations lost when saving PDF from KMail
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226079 --- Comment #2 from Thomas Grauschopf 2010-02-10 00:07:53 --- I should add that I renamed the file to the original attachment's name when using "Save as" because of the strange name it got from KMail: "thesis.pdf_[dR2463].pdf" --> "thesis.pdf". Annotations made before and after using "Save as" were lost. When I decide to not rename, however, the annotations are not lost. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel

[Okular-devel] [Bug 226079] New: Reviews/annotations lost when saving PDF from KMail
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226079 Summary: Reviews/annotations lost when saving PDF from KMail Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: graus...@web.de Version:(using KDE 4.3.5) OS:Linux Installed from:Ubuntu Packages I opened a PDF attachment in KMail with okular. Then, I stored it with "Save as" as a separate file. Next I added some reviews/annotations. After closing and reopening the file the annotations were lost! Please note however, that this does not happen when the file is opened from file system in first place. This way, annotations survive closing and reopening okular. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel

[Okular-devel] [Bug 226059] New: Ability to print reviews on PDF documents
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226059 Summary: Ability to print reviews on PDF documents Product: okular Version: 0.9.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: digitalpion...@gmail.com Version: 0.9.4 (using KDE 4.3.4) OS:Linux Installed from:Archlinux Packages I like that Okular allows you to make annotations and whatnot on PDF documents with the Tools->Reviews menu, and I realize that it isn't really possible to send these to other machines in PDF format since they aren't part of the PDF format (I see that I can export as a .okular file which _does_ have them, and that's excellent) but there is no reason that I shouldn't be able to print them from the machine they were made on. I would like to see an option to print a document with any reviews that were made on the document. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
[Okular-devel] [Bug 161020] Okular deselection of yellow marker tool
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161020 --- Comment #10 from2010-02-09 11:58:20 --- (In reply to comment #9) > There's two problems with having the review bar as a drop down menu: > 1) You have to move your mouse farther to select a tool > 2) You have to click more often I don't understand (1). Depending on where one places their pointer (and review bar too), they may or may not have to move the mouse further. As for (2), you do not have to click more often. You click and hold once or, if each tool is assigned their own toolbar button, you just click once. To bring up the review bar, you have to either click a toolbar button or press F6, and *then* you need to select a tool. > All in all I bet that this user interaction would take at least 3 times longer > if the review bar was replaced by a drop down menu. Clicking and holding for a drop-down button would take insignificantly longer, but assigning each tool their own button wouldn't. Indeed it would be faster. > Also note that not everyone trims the borders of a document. They're there for > a reason, and imo make the document more pleasant to the eye and therefore > more > readable. Typically margins exist out of printing concerns and have nothing to do with screen display. Whether margins make a document look more pleasant to the eye varies per reader. It doesn't for me or anyone else who trims margins. I don't think either of us will convince the other about which implementation is better, nor do I think that this is the right forum to do so. There is another bug filed for this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
