Unfortunately without a way to reproduce the problem reliably it's quite hard
to find our where the problem is, it would be great if you could find a way to
always reproduce the problem with not much steps so we could then try to nail
down why it's doing that, otherwise I don't think we can reasonably fix this
bug anytime soon.

Thanks a lot for the report :)

Right, our CHM support is a bit lacking at the moment. Unfortunately there's
not much people in our current base of developers that have much experience
with it which means this bug will probably take a good while to be fixed.

Thanks a lot for the report :-)

Can't reproduce the problem, it prints fine here (with the wrong wingdings, but
that's a different story) and can also print without issues to pdf file

Not sure how to debug the first issue, but for the second this may help, please
do
valgrind --trace-children=yes myfile.pdf
and then try to print to pdf file and attach the output of the valgrind
command. Note it'll run slower

Yes, it works, i just created a 5 page document, asked to print from page 2 to
4 only the odd pages and got a single page printed out (page #3)

You don't get that output, right?

I can't reproduce the crash. Maybe it has to do with the file your using. Could
you share the file and in case it has more than one page tell us in which page

The list was copied from the text of the corresponding review request. It seems
to me it stresses on the possible actions once more which is useful to
acknowledge users with them (e.g. me constantly forget that it is necessary to
press Ctrl to move annotations). ;)
