[Okular-devel] [okular] [Bug 354894] New: allow any graphic/symbol as stamp annotation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354894 Bug ID: 354894 Summary: allow any graphic/symbol as stamp annotation Product: okular Version: 0.20.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: PDF backend Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: lopeziba...@gmail.com Although it is possible to configure the stamp annotation or create a new one, the only choices are predefined. I would like to choose (or have available) a check-mark (✓) symbol, which is often useful when filling forms that are not actually PDF forms, just scans. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
[Okular-devel] [okular] [Bug 353401] Feature requst: "typewriter" annotation tool
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353401 Manuel López-Ibáñez changed: What|Removed |Added CC||lopeziba...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Manuel López-Ibáñez --- I think this can be approximated already with an inline note with white background. The downside is that currently is not possible to remove the border around the note, nor set the background to transparent. If those two things were possible, it would be exactly what is needed (and perhaps it could be provided by default). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353401 Sumit Sahrawat changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sumit.sahrawat.apm13@iitbhu ||.ac.in --- Comment #2 from Sumit Sahrawat --- I'm working on making the border width customizable, which when set to 0 removes the border entirely. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
[Okular-devel] [okular] [Bug 353401] Feature requst: "typewriter" annotation tool
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353401 Gus Gustafson changed: What|Removed |Added CC||efelthau...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Gus Gustafson --- Some thoughts: --What if the color of the "page" is not white? User will have to try to match the comment background color to page color, as best as possible. This can be difficult. Transparent background option would be important. --Also, what will the experience be if there are very many places needing "typewriter"-type function on a page or document, if using inline comments? Have to change background color and border width for every one? That can be very user-unfriendly... Will Okular remember the last-used style setting for comments, and replicate it for next inline comment? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel

Changes --- aacid: This leads to similar behavior across both PDFs and non-PDF documents. Although the word wrapping isn't working on non-PDF documents. Thus, it also fixes the issue with overlapping borders. Bugs: 332887 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=332887 Repository: okular Description --- Make inline annotation border width customizable, using a spin widget to accept input Diffs (updated) - conf/widgetannottools.cpp 6d05eed ui/annotationwidgets.h 6e7a218 ui/annotationwidgets.cpp 450e50b ui/pagepainter.cpp 6eed5b6 Diff: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/125801/diff/ Testing --- Saved a document with various widths for border from 0 to more. Opened it in okular itself, and it worked. The unpatched version of okular also works fine, and uses the same width as set using the patched version. Other pdf readers on linux (`evince`, `zathura`, `acroread-9.5.5`), do not display any annotations. No matter which okular (patched or unpatched) is used to create them. Thanks, Sumit Sahrawat ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
