Christoph can you confirm you get that on Windows? Also which poppler version are you shipping? [okular] [Bug 419356] Default pageview (e.g. fit page, fit width) does not register sometimes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419356 --- Comment #5 from David Hurka --- Possible solutions would be WONTFIX, or to load the default zoom in Part::configChanged when no document is loaded. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[okular] [Bug 419356] Default pageview (e.g. fit page, fit width) does not register sometimes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419356 --- Comment #4 from David Hurka --- You should be aware, that when you use the configuration dialog, there is already one Part¹ loaded. And that Part loaded the old configuration. I. e. when you open a new document after closing the configuration dialog, you still operate on the old Part, and so on the old configuration. Only when you start a new Part by opening a second document, it loads the new configuration. You can observe that by looking at the zoom combobox in the toolbar. It is already initalized before you open the configuration dialog. 1) Part: One “Instance of document reader” -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[okular] [Bug 419431] New: Images pasted into PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC do not display properly on screen.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419431 Bug ID: 419431 Summary: Images pasted into PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC do not display properly on screen. Product: okular Version: 1.9.2 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: fergusonricha...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127120 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127120&action=edit PDF file with images added using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. First page has two images on top of page image. The second page has single image. SUMMARY On the first page of "Image Display Issue.pdf", there is an image that is native with the original file. An opaque image was superimposed over part of this image to block out the underlying image so that a second transparent image would be clearly seen when it was added. Images were added using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2020.006.20042). The opaque image was copied from MS Paint and pasted in the PDF file. The second image was copied from an MS Excel spreadsheet. On the second page, two images were pasted on the page, one above the other. Both screenshots taken by MS Snip & Sketch (10.907.2471.0). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open attached file in Okular. 2. Images that were pasted into the document by Adobe Acrobat Reader DC do not display properly. The pasted images are partially covered by an opaque graphic that looks like a label with a corner "dog eared." 3. The opaque graphic cannot be moved off of the pasted images. It is not on a layer than can be turned off. 4. When the document is printed from Okular, the underlying images are clearly visible and the opaque graphic is not visible. See attached "Graphic Display Issue, Printing Test.pdf". 5. When the PDF is loaded by LibreOffice Draw, the opaque graphic is not visible over the images in the file, and the images display properly. OBSERVED RESULT Images pasted into PDF file by Adobe Acrobat Reader DC are partially blocked by a graphic of what looks like a label. EXPECTED RESULT Graphic images native to the PDF should display without being covered by an opaque graphic.
