Maybe. I have actively switched some things when reading a reviewed article.

[okular] [Bug 422118] New: Okular - Problem with polish international signs when using typewritter

2020-05-26 Thread Krzysztof Kardas
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422118

Bug ID: 422118
Summary: Okular - Problem with polish international signs when
using typewritter
   Product: okular
   Version: 1.10.1
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: PDF backend
  Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: krzysztof.kar...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I have noticed that Okular in review mode, when I am trying to type text using
typewritter has problem with polish international signs (for example ł,ż,ń etc)
on PDF. Only working signs are those from ISO-8859-1 table. On the PDF there is
no sing but, when I double click on the typewriter field - I can see the text
is correct.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run Okular, change to Polish
2. Run Typewritter and make sure fonts have polish signs
3. Try to insert text using typewritter - for example: zażółć gęślą jaźń

OBSERVED RESULT
The text on PDF has something like this: zaó gl ja

EXPECTED RESULT
Text on PDF should have: zażółć gęślą jaźń

It works fine for me without doing any switching on off.

@Art: Maybe it is related to the actual searches you did before?

Or is it "open file, type 0x68 -> nothing found"?

@Yuri do you remember if you did any searches before searching 0x68 that may
have confused the search algorithm?

Git commit 040e11c52baa95566f3700cda784bd81772eae54 by Albert Astals Cid.
Committed on 25/05/2020 at 22:48.
Pushed by aacid into branch 'release/20.04'.

Fix ZoomIn getting stuck when on facing pages

We need to use int when calculating colWidth in zoomFactorFitMode since
we also use int when calculating it in PageView::slotRelayoutPages,
otherwise the calculated numbers are veeery similar but not the same
and the algorithm gets all confused

The second argument of scrollTo is the animation speed, which I've set to zero.

Weird things.

Switching "Find as you type" off then on and "0x68" can be found. Restart
Okular and it can be found without switching as you type off.

The file at question

If "Find as you type" is switched off then "0x68" can be easily found.

If it's on then "0x6" or "x68" can be found, but once it's "0x68" something
happens and the string cannot be found.

[okular] [Bug 422080] New: Continuous view and multiple tabs

2020-05-26 Thread Guilherme Dias da Fonseca
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422080

Bug ID: 422080
Summary: Continuous view and multiple tabs
   Product: okular
   Version: 1.9.3
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: gfonsec...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

When the setting to open new files in tabs is on, the continuous view checkbox
behaves erratically.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable open new files in tabs
2. Open two files that show initially in continuous view
3. Disable continuous view in file number 1
4. Disable continuous view in file number 2

OBSERVED RESULT
File number 2 will remain in continuous view. Re-enabling continuous view in
file 2 and disabling it one more time solves the problem.

EXPECTED RESULT
File number 2 should not show in continuous view.
