(Not sure what the correct bug resolution is, though).

Sorry, you can’t. :(

You use black background, which is totally acceptable. Unfortunately, the only
known workarounds don’t work then:

* Use the Thumbnails sidebar’s search bar, instead of the Ctrl+F find bar. It
will highlight search results in other colors like green and blue. Because you
have black background, these will probably be invisible as well.
* The text selection color follows the system color scheme’s highlight color.
You may configure that in System Settings -> Appearance -> Colors. Same problem
because you have black background.

This still an issue in the current version. If you zoom and start entering text
then zoom out it is often then cut off as the text size isn't changed when
zooming.

Confirmed still an issue on 1.11.3. Libreoffice shows dots (and dashes) and
Okular only gives dot point to the first level of indentation, the rest are
numbered.

Albert does this mean this can be resolved as a downstream issue?

[okular] [Bug 429823] New: Copy-paste blocks of text or edits made

2020-11-29 Thread Allexus J
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429823

Bug ID: 429823
Summary: Copy-paste blocks of text or edits made
   Product: okular
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: a.g...@libero.it
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 133737
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=133737&action=edit
Example pic

It would be great if I could copy paste the block of text, instead of manually
open the text, copy the text, create a new block text, and paste the text.

The same thing can be done with other edits/sketches made.

Is it possible?

Regards and thanks for this amazing tool!
