==210696==ABORTING

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have some text spoken. You can do it either with selection, or speak
current page or any other alternative.
2. In Configure Okular << Accessibility, change the voice. My testing was done
with flite and the voices I had were slt and kal16.
3. Have text spoken again. Okular will crash with a segfault.

OBSERVED RESULT
Segfault.

EXPECTED RESULT
The text should be spoken with changed voice.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Manjaro (unstable branch)
(available in About System)
DE used : XFCE
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I tried debugging around a bit in the Okular source, but no values seem to be
going null. Could be an issue with the qt texttospeech plugin?

(In reply to Rafael Linux User from comment #19)
> I really don't know by what logic you understand that it is not a "bug".

Please note that the scope here is "a bug in a something developed on kde.org".
It is true that other programs don't show it, but are they using the same
libraries to get the fonts? It may be just an error in a different part of the
stack, and that's what was being discussed.

Still happening in Okular 24.02.0 on KDE Neon Plasma 6.
I also noticed that after a system restart (I shut it down and then turned it
on again the day after) the feature works perfectly.
Double clicking on the PDF makes it open in a new tab, as expected.

So I guess the bug is just that it needs a system reboot to work?

Actually today the feature is working as expected, the documents are opened in
a new tab though double clicking them.
Might be it that it just needs a system reboot to work?

(Note to the other okular people; This is most probably an issue in poppler,
and I'm looking at that. While it would be most correct to close the bug here
and reopen it in poppler ( https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/ ),
I'm keeping the bug open here 'cause that's where the user are)
