My test was to print a pdf document formatted as a single A0 page in landscape. It correctly scaled down to fit an A4 page using the options "Fit to print area" or "Fit to full page". With the latter I lost some information that was rendered beyond the margins this printer could physically print to, but that's normal and expected behaviour.
