Yes I've heard that it is about 30 days cure time.  The garage site is great.

Concrete has to set up and age a bit. Read the garage site and see how long
they think you should wait before sealing the top. .bill in corvallis

Thanks Antonio

This will be a new concrete floor so I hope some of the prep work can be
eliminated.  Won't be any grease, oil, etc. to cleanup.

I used the Sherwin Williams two part epoxy product in my garage about 6
years ago and it is holding real good. No tire pick up, no damage from
dropping tools or chipping. We get snow around here every now and then so we
tend to track some of the sand they use for intersections in and as long as
I wash it off it holds. The only thing is that it has lost some of the sheen
due to the cleaner I use; Oil Eaters.

It cost me about $300 to cover a 3 car garage plus prep expenses. In my
opinion the secret to a lasting coating is on the prep work, which requires
a good degreaser, acid to etch the concrete after a good clean up and lots
of elbow grease, be prepared to lose a few pound doing the prep work.

Stay away from the crap stuff they sell at Home Depot, just find your local
Sherwin Williams store and get it there. I think the product that I got is
called tile clad or something like that.

Enjoy and remember the secret is on the prep work.

Antonio

Subject: [old-chevy-truck] Garage Floor Finish

Hey All

This is a little bit off topic,  but I'm building a new workshop/garage for
the old truck and I want to put an epoxy coating on the floor.  Any
suggestions or recommendations on the brand or style?  Workshop is about 16
x 22.  Would have liked something bigger but that's all the room I have.

Thanks for all your help
