Hi Michael,

I sorted out the model data standardized by the tosca-nfv specification. And
submitted it to the gerrit of SDC, see https://gerrit.onap.org/r/#/c/12619/ .

Could you have a review?

Thanks,

tosca-nfv specification.

Hi Michael,

The enitity types standardized by the tosca-nfv specification(see
http://docs.oasis-open.org/tosca/tosca-nfv/v1.0/tosca-nfv-v1.0.html), For
example: 'tosca.nodes.nfv.VDU', 'tosca.nodes.nfv.CP', and so on, are often used
in the VF-C domain. And should be predefined in the SDC.

In order to add these tosca nfv models to the SDC's predefined models, I
created an issue, see https://jira.onap.org/browse/SDC-318.

And I already had the definitions of these tosca nfv models, can I contribute
to the ONAP community directly?

In addition, there are three issues related to SDC support for tosca nfv
models, as follows:

https://jira.onap.org/browse/SDC-298

https://jira.onap.org/browse/SDC-309

https://jira.onap.org/browse/SDC-310

Do you have a schedule for these issues?

We are now aligning the types and testing it.
Once done we will create a commit for them.

I will use your commit as reference but I will not be taking it as is.

Regarding the issues you mentioned are they blocking for the VOLTE use case?

Dear Lusheng,

You can try switching to the
"{project-name}-{stream}-release-version-java-daily-no-sonar" template. This
way your project won't report anything back to Sonar since looks like in
these repos cases it is not useful as per your explanation.

Let me know if this works for you

[onap-discuss] 答复: [sdc]pply for add a Discussion Item about "review VoLTE VNF CSAR example" at SDC weekly meeitng

2017-09-18 Thread 杨艳
Hi Michael,

Thanks for your arrangement, here is one VNF csar package from ZTE, please
review it in today’s meeting , About the other VNF csar package examples, I
will send you later and you can help us to review them offline.

The following I list some questions about the VNF csar package structure and
hope you can help clarify. Thank you.

ROOT\

MainServiceTemplate.mf [a map representing the different parts of the
CSAR structure.] About the questions for this file I list the following .

MainServiceTemplate.yaml [copy of the main service template located
under Definitions]

 \TOSCA-Metadate\

TOSCA.meta [ metadata regarding the CSAR structure], What’s
the relationship between this file and the MainServiceTemplate.yaml at the rrot
directory? If the file refer to simple profile 1.1?

 \Artifacts\ [includes all artifacts.]

   Images are not supported.

Artifact type will be identified by an additional folder
under “Informational”/“Deployment” that will define the artifact type SDC
supported artifact types can be found here: SDC supported artifact
types .

Artifacts at the root directory or unrecognized folder(s)
will be classified as type “Other” What check and validation SDC will do for
VNF csar package content. The directory or the file under root of the Artifacts
directory or other directory will be passed directly and not be checked, is it
right or not?

\Informational\ [will hold all informative artifacts in the
direct asset level] What artifacts belongs to informational and what artifacts
belongs to deployment, Can you help explain it?

   \Deployment\ [Sub-folder directly under “Artifacts”–
Deployment artifacts in the direct asset level]

   \\

\Informational\ [will hold all informative
artifacts on VFC level ]
\Deployment\ [will hold all deployment artifacts on
VFC level ]

\Definitions\ [includes all TOSCA yaml files ]

MainServiceTemplate.mf Whether it contains all the contents of mf file here
and what check will do for this file. Whether it should contains hash values,
private key signatures, and public key certificates.

metadata:

vnf_product_name: vCSCF Whether vnf has naming rules and whether the vnf
name should be consisted with A&AI and DCAE

vnf_provider_id: ZTE For the provider id, is there a naming standard?

vnf_package_version: 1.0 What does the version number represent here?

vnf_release_data_time: 2017.01.01T10:00+03:00 what the time means here?

We can add this to our topics.

We have an open item regarding Nokia support of the csar structure we agreed on.

Our csar structure is available in the wiki:

and up until today we did not receive all the CSAR examples for the volte use

[onap-discuss] data mismatch between Git and gerrit commit statistics in bitreg

Hi All,

I was trying to see the statistics in https://onap.biterg.io.

I found that there is some inconstancy between git_data and gerrit_data. The
count shown in git is less than gerrit merged change set.

Is there any delay in data sync for git?

Hi, PTLs,
Below is the page in “jira”, we are tracking all the blocking issues. We
normally submit a jira ticket in that project and put “Integration” label and
priority as “highest”; at the same time, we assign it to the PTL at that
project, therefore you don’t need to go anywhere to track it.

You could click the following link to get all of them: (a little bit long):

[onap-discuss] [AAI] Dynamic update of schema?

2017-09-18 Thread Kang Xi
Hi Jimmy,

Does AAI support dynamic update of the schema? If a new data or new RESTAPI is
added to the schema, do we need to restart AAI to load the updated version? Is
it possible to modify or delete an existing item in the schema?

2017-09-18 Thread Gary Wu
Hi Phil,

It's hard to tell without knowing what commits you have already made in your
working directory. But generally speaking, you should make sure that your
specific change is made on the latest version on the master branch; this will
avoid the issue of having undesired merges in your commit.

Thanks,

Re: [onap-discuss] integration] RE: CSIT env needs for DCAE

2017-09-18 Thread WANG, SHAOBO
Hi Gary,

We had discussions/meetings with DCAE DEV team regarding running DCAE R1 test
cases in CSIT environment. With the reality that DCAE R1 are tightly coupled
with Rackspace, VM and VM Cluster, the complete R1 DCAE system cannot run under
CSIT environment. There do have several DCAE components which are built as
Docker container images and can be pull from ONAP Docker hub and run. However,
missing the critical DCAE platform components, nothing but VES Collector has
chance to run independently under CSIT environment (still having problem
pending to fix) and generate meaningful test result for some test cases.

Please share some light which approach we should proceed:

* Just run the VES Collector component under CSIT for VES Event
Collection test. - Only a small portion of DCAE R1 tests

* Run the DCAE R1 test over a remote DCAE system in a lab (ATT or
WindRiver/Intel Lab) - Only the people who have the access to the lab can run
DCAE R1 tests

We need to have a quick decision in order to meet the Sep. 28 deadline (or not
delay too much).

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Chinnappa,

The LF CSIT environment does not allow direct access to any OpenStack
infrastructure. You're pretty much limited to spinning up docker containers
within a single VM, but the VM memory size can be pretty large. Would this
work for you?

My recommendation for is to limit the CSIT test flows to the ones that can work
within the above constraints (e.g. spinning up a few specific docker containers
and test the APIs/interactions between them). Anything that needs deployment
capabilities via Heat or OpenStack should be done on the E2E infrastructure in
the Open Labs.

Thanks,
Gary

Re: [onap-discuss] AAI Error "model-loader docker exited with in 2 munities with error ModelLoader ERROR|failed to connect to url: /asdc/v1/distributionUebCluster"

2017-09-18 Thread Josef Reisinger
Folks,
I run into more or less the same error, with the difference that "my"
container dies after max 5 seconds.
I need a second ONAP environment and after a number of tries with 1.1 and
1.0 last week, I came to the conclusion that trying a copy of my still
existing ONAP environment would be the fastest route to target. I could
close some of the VMs, but the aai (one-VM-version) refuses to start up
with the above mentioned issue. I'll have a deeper look into the issues
tomorrow.

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your suggestions.

As I mentioned in trail email SDC all dockers up and running and health
check is also good.

However, all ONAP VMs(including SDC and AAI VM) currently running with
version 1.0.0 in our lab.
As per you It seems Model -Loader docker is only stable with version
1.1.0

Please confirm , should we move all ONAP VM from version 1.0.0 to version
1.1.0 or there is a way to fix with version 1.0.0.

@Josef, please share your view as you setup ONAP lab with version 1.0.0

Thanks

and continue to retry.

Based, on your error log, it appears that the ML encounters a connection
timeout trying to reach the SDC (and subsequently shuts itself down).
You?ll need to validate that the SDC is up and running, and that it is
reachable from the ML container.

[onap-discuss] [ONAP Helpdesk #45672] ONAP Jenkins system fails repeatedly

2017-09-18 Thread Jessica Wagantall via RT
Dear Guangrong,

I noticed this problem too as we are growing on the number of jobs we are
hosting.

I am working with my team member to set these schedules similar to how Open
Daylight handles this.

In the meantime, I will be happy to re-run any jobs I notice that failed.

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Based on your description, I would suggest that you limit your CSIT scope to
just the VES Collector.

Thanks,
Gary

Subject: RE: integration] RE: CSIT env needs for DCAE

· Just run the VES Collector component under CSIT for VES Event
Collection test. – Only a small portion of DCAE R1 tests

· Run the DCAE R1 test over a remote DCAE system in a lab (ATT or
WindRiver/Intel Lab) - Only the people who have the access to the lab can run
DCAE R1 tests

We need to have a quick decision in order to meet the Sep. 28 deadline (or not
delay too much).

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Chinnappa,

The LF CSIT environment does not allow direct access to any OpenStack
infrastructure. You’re pretty much limited to spinning up docker containers
within a single VM, but the VM memory size can be pretty large. Would this
work for you?

My recommendation for is to limit the CSIT test flows to the ones that can work
within the above constraints (e.g. spinning up a few specific docker containers
and test the APIs/interactions between them). Anything that needs deployment
capabilities via Heat or OpenStack should be done on the E2E infrastructure in
the Open Labs.

Thanks,
Gary

Subject: CSIT env needs for DCAE

Hi Gary,

DCAE project has different env needs compared to other ONAP projects. Need to
understand how we can do this in CSIT env. Most important requirement is that
DCAE env needs a tenant for the Open DCAE to work.

Lusheng from DCAE team would be able to tell us more on the env needs. I can
schedule a meeting to talk through this. Let me know your availability.

Re: [onap-discuss] [ptls][integration]Gating Project

2017-09-18 Thread Gildas Lanilis
Ah ah ☺ You have asked for the list, you got the list.
No Helen, this list has not been formally approved by TSC.

To clarify.
The list was done with the intention to de-risk as much as possible Amsterdam
release.
The Gating projects are the projects that MUST be in Amsterdam.
The Non Gating projects are the projects that can be removed from Amsterdam in
the case they would miss the coming milestones. We do not want these “Non
Gating projects” to jeopardize the Amsterdam Release.
Now, in case the “Non Gating Projects” are ready for Amsterdam that is
fantastic, they will be IN.

Hope this helps.

Re: [onap-discuss] ONAP TSC measures of success

2017-09-18 Thread Aayush.Bhatnagar
Some inputs -

We should categorize the technical success of the platform in tangible ways.
Some suggestions are provided below for further discussion.

We can perhaps institute a process of arriving at a Net Promoter Score (NPS)
for each of these aspects -

1. Operational Agility Metrics

The ability for the community to BUILD-TEST-DEPLOY the ONAP platform is a key
technical aspect. Hence, the automated CI/CD process would be a key measure of
technical success - as it will help in greater adoption and use of ONAP.

2. Extensibility Metrics (APIs).

The ONAP Platform will need to integrate with 3rd party systems - such as OSS,
BSS and Carrier-specific analytics platforms to realize advanced use cases.
This will require a rich set of APIs to be exposed from the ONAP Platform for
3rd party consumption.

Hence, how rich is our REST API set would determine how seamlessly ONAP
integrates in diverse carrier and vendor ecosystems. Each subsystem of ONAP
should have a documented API library for enabling these integrations, which can
be exposed via the API gateway design pattern.

3. Performance Metrics (Scaling)

The ONAP platform needs to scale massively - depending upon the scale of the
NFVI it is managing and the number of VIMs involved. We should discuss and
arrive at a set of scalability numbers for all the platform components - which
can give a clear message to the larger community that the platform is scalable
and "Carrier Grade".

4. ONAP Certifications and Inter-op Ecosystem

We must have an aggressive program with targets to "certify" vendor products
and "carrier networks" to be ONAP ready. This program can perhaps be run
quarter on quarter through the open labs project. Larger the "certified"
ecosystem of vendors and carriers - better the platform's technical success.

5. Quantitative Aspects

Based on the discussion below, I suggest the following quantitative measures
which can be visualized on the ONAP website -

a. Lines of code
b. Number of commits
c. Downloads (Binary Distribution of ONAP)
d. Checkouts (Source repo wise)
e. Community Comments (representing a vibrant community)
f. Number nightly builds through the CD process (which would increase with
each day)
g. Others?

Regards

Aayush

Hi,

The metrics of course depend on what we want to promote and the message related
to this. The Health of the community is probably a good one - and this could
be worth looking at: https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/chaoss/metrics

Regarding LoC - is more or less better really? i.e. you can have many LoC that
don't do much, or less that does a lot It's an easy metric and its there,
but its questionable the message that you really get from it.

BR,

Steve

Dear ONAP Community,

I want to start an email dialog which we will follow up in our Paris meeting on
technical measures of success of the ONAP platform.
What measures we should track and make publicly visible in PR events? I know
LOC has been used already. This seems like one
of 2-3 other measures we should be tracking.

Those measures should be agnostic to any particular release and publicly
recognized. Please share your thoughts and ideas.

thanks!
Mazin

The command I use is ‘mvn install CDmaven.test.skip=true’. And I have the

It looks like there is some problem with the below dependency configuration.

client-kit-1.1.0.pom cannot be found at nexus repo. But I’m not sure why it
build success in jenkins.
