[onap-discuss] IMPORTANT PARIS EVENT SITE INFORMATION

2017-09-25 Thread Kenny Paul
The following information contains information attendees need to know about the
Nokia Site

 PARKING
Upon arrival at the main entrance, please park in visitor parking (to the right
of the building), check-in at the reception desk to retrieve your name badge,
and then you will receive directions for where to park for the remainder of the
event.

TRANSPORTATION
Directions from the Airports
Directions from Orly Airport and Charles-de-Gaulle Airport can be found here
.

Driving Directions from Paris
Porte de St Cloud N118/Pont de Sèvres- Take first the N118 to
Chartres-Bordeaux-Meudon - Exit Orsay/Mondétour (n°13) At the intersection,
take the last exit on the left, to A10 Paris/Villejust. Follow A10
Paris/Villejust, and Villejust then Alcatel-Lucent, via route de l’Hurepoix.

Public Transportation from Paris
Either take a taxi from the TGV station or the RER B or RER C trains. Stop at
Massy-Palaiseau station, exit by the footbridge. Then take the DM11C bus
(Daniel Meyer Company), the bus stop is Nozay Villarceaux. The RER B is an
express train to and from Paris and runs until midnight. See the schedule

of suburban trains (metro and RER).

Taxis
Taxis are not readily available on short notice if you are staying at a hotel
near the Nokia campus. We suggest pre-ordering a taxi with the hotel staff the
night before to be sure a taxi is available for you in the morning. For the
return back to your hotel, the Nokia staff can secure a taxi for you.

REGISTRATION
On your first arrival day to the Nokia Saclay-Paris, you will check-in with the
security desk at the main entrance and receive your name badge and directions
to the meetings for the remainder of the week. Once you have your name badge,
you do not need to check-in with security each day. Badge must be worn
throughout the event.

MEALS
Break food and beverages will be provided each day. Tuesday-Thursday, breakfast
will be provided by Nokia and lunch will be held at the campus cafeteria at
your own expenses. The cost for lunch will be based on what you choose from the
cafeteria; average cost is 10-15 EUR.

[onap-discuss] [OOM] sdc deploy stuck at pod init

2017-09-25 Thread huangxiangyu
Hi Michael,

Parker from UNH lab says they can't find a pod has more memory then the one I
applied (60G memory) . So I have to perform partial deploy using "-a" option
and i still got stuck by init pod when deploy sdc. Partial deploy should have
no insufficient resource issue and I wonder which cause this problem.

Here are the pods status of sdc:

Hi Michael,

As we disccussed before, workflow designer will be integrated into sdc as a
button in top menu(see the image below).

[cid:image001.png@01D335FB.799AD510]

This jira task is assigned to me. And I found this code is under
sdc/catalog-ui. could I just add a button to the top menu after 'CATALOG' or I
need to notice the one who is response for this component to integrate the
workflow designer?

Regards.

Re: [onap-discuss] SONAR\Jacoco configuration

2017-09-25 Thread Sonsino, Ofir
Thanks for your reply Geora.

I've added the execution step you mentioned (updated pom here:
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/#/c/14971/1/epsdk-app-onap/pom.xml)

I still get in Jenkins console:
Skipping JaCoCo execution due to missing execution data file.
And also noticed this one:
Tests are skipped.

I must miss something , trying to google it but can't seem to find a solution
at the moment.
Would appreciate any advice here.

Thanks,
Ofir

No, there are non shuttles arranged for morning/evening transportation with the
exception of the Bowling event
Tuesday, September 26- 6:30pm-9:30pm

Nokia has arranged shuttles for 50 people to take them to the venue, per the
response we received from the survey. Many people are staying at hotels that
are outside the direct vicinity so the shuttle will make a stop at the train
station at the end of the night.

Returning Bowling Bus Schedule
16:45 Depart Extra Bowl
Drop off at Comfort Hotel Bretigny Sur Orge
Return to Extra Bowl by 17:15

17:30 Depart Extra Bowl
17:40 Drop off at Best Western Hotel L'Oree at
17:55 Drop off at Hotel Novotel Massy Palaiseau

I have published the agenda for the Paris Developers Meeting.
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Developer+Event+September+25-28%2C+2017%2C+Paris-Saclay%2C+France

A couple items of note:

  * The main sessions will be shared with any remote attendees as a Zoom
webinar, similar to how the VF2F was handled. The other sessions will be
handled via regular zoom meetings to the extent they can be accommodated.
  * We have spent a great deal of time trying to accommodate everyone’s needs
and have made every attempt to minimize conflicts based upon the number of
folks that are interested in a session. Main room sessions are pretty well
locked down from a schedule perspective.
  * Although the schedule is released I am still making edits to the page to
cross link session descriptions to the original Topics page.
  * I am meeting with the LF Events team in the morning to determine if we
can/should use the event attendee mobile app that we use for our larger
events. If so you will get an update on that tomorrow.

IF YOU ARE A SESSION HOST:

  * Please look for your timeslots and verify you can attend your session(s).
  * Please upload and/or provide a link to your content on the schedule page.
Please just use a link rather than embedded PDFs at this time to keep the
schedule page as un-cluttetred as possible.
  * If you feel your session should be scheduled for a different time, any of
the green slots listed on the schedule are available to you. -HOWEVER- it is
your full responsibility to ensure that you are not moving to a new time that
will created a scheduling conflict with the bulk of your audience.

I’m looking forward to meeting you next week.

Best Regards,
-kenny

Hi Murali,
I don’t think there is a recording sorry,
Regarding the AAI-UI. It currently is designed and modelled to work with AAI,
but if you want to use it to interact with titan directly, it is a possibility
for sure with a few changes.

Jimmy/Arul,

We had a session of usage of AAI-UI. Do you have the recording of the meeting?
Can you please share the link?
Can you please post some learning material about AAI-UI?

Doubts:

1. Whether the AAI-UI is generic? We can use this to view the Titan graph
inside SDC also ?

2. Are there any generic tools to view the Titan database graphs?

With regards,
Murali

Kang, all,

The big advantage of the current time slot (12:30-13:15) is that there is no
other discussion currently planned for this slot, which will allow many people
to attend.
In the time slot you propose to move it to there are already 3 interesting
sessions scheduled, which will result in many people missing our session even
though they would be interested in joining.
As for time zones I think 6:30am for eastern U.S. is reasonable, and in
particular Gil will attend, and we would only lose potential remote
participants in other u.s. time zones.

So between definitely losing many people locally, vs. potentially losing some
remotely – I prefer the latter, i.e. to not move our session.

Kang,
I can support either time.

Note that I have posted to the “drafts” page on the wiki the slides that I plan
to talk from:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Residential+Broadband+vCPE+Drafts+for+discussion?focusedCommentId=15997611&refresh=1506107321110#comment-15997611

As an FYI, you will see that the slides have a lot of information, but do not
conclude that I will attempt to talk to that detail in my allotted 15 minutes.
I have purposely shrunk pictures down to small font so that no one in the
audience is tempted to try to read that detail during the presentation. My
purpose is to use the diagrams on the slide only to generally convey the topic
which I will be addressing verbally. I will ask the audience to focus only on
the boxes and sticks... no fine text on the slides. I plan to basically speak
to the verbiage in the yellow callouts, which capture the “take away” points on
each slide. The audience can come back and read the details later if they
would like.

Team,
Please comment if you have any feedback on the slides. Comments are
appreciated. Particularly:

• DeWayne - can you verify that I have done a good job in my yellow
callout text of articulating our “Stretch” goal for Release 1?

• Dan T, Rob D, John C, Daniel R – can you verify that I have done a
good job in my yellow callout text of relating the system functionality for
Release 1?

• Dan T, Rob D, John C, Daniel R – can you verify that I have done a
good job in my yellow callout text of relating the system functionality for
Release 1?

Shubhra,
Hi, that page is from Feb 2017 (pre ONAP 1.0) those 2 repos are not public

git clone

Subject: Regarding missing portal artifacts/ code files!

Hi Michael,

This mail is regarding the ONAP- portal component - failure to find the
respective portal code files.

I am following the below link to clone the code for ONAP portal. But, I am
unable to find the below two mentioned files for ONAP portal code.

Note : I know you an E2E person but see if you are aware of this issue and
should be able to share your insights.

I am stuck at the below two steps:

git clone
https://@/scm/st_quantum/ecomp_portal_core.git
 -b 1607_master

git clone
https://@scm/st_quantum/quantum.git
 -b BRANCH_1607

The files ecomp_portal_core.git and quantum.git doesnot exists.

I tried the below commands :
git clone https://shubhra.g...@github.com/scm/st_quantum/ecomp_portal_core.git
-b 201607_master
Cloning into 'ecomp_portal_core'...
remote: Not Found

git clone https://shubhra.g...@github.com/scm/st_quantum/quantum.git -b
BRANCH_1607
Cloning into 'quantum'...
remote: Not Found

Link for ONAP Portal https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Portal+Build+Instructions

Could you please help in resolving this issue.

I saw your name on portal page, so contacting you for the same. Please redirect
me to the concerned person, if any!

Best Regards,
Shubhra

Gildas,
I reviewed M2-M3 TSC Update excel.
For AAF, there are lot of Jenkins issues -> We are working on it. We are
deferring AAF project for Release 2. No other ONAP project is using AAF in
Release 1.
For DMaaP , there are lot Jenkins issues -> DMaaP has 3 components viz Message
Router, Data Router and Bus Controller. We are deferring Data Router and Bus
Controller
To Release 1. For Message Router, release jobs are failing. Stage site jobs
never started . Jessica told since release branch is not available, release
jobs are failing. I will
contact helpdesk on why stage site jobs were not started. CSIT tasks are also
pending for M2 and M3. I have committed the code today. DMaaP CSIT code in
integration repo is merged. Jenkins CSIT config is in code review.

Thanks

[onap-discuss] Paris F2F Meeting Update - For ON-SITE Attendees

2017-09-25 Thread Kenny Paul
Here are a few things for attendees to be aware of for Tuesday:

Getting back into the event:
Once you have received your badge, you can just to the the manual security gate
to be let in. No need to go back into the lobby.

Main Session:
To simplify any A/V issues with folks swapping in and out, my goal is to have a
single system hosting the webinar which is sharing the screen. My expatiation
is that presenters will connect to the webinar session as Panelists to share
their slides or desktops from their own computer, similar to what we do on most
of our regular weekly calls.. This should work good in theory and hopefully in
practice. If you have not already verified that you can use the wifi, please
do so as soon as possible.

Breakouts:
We will have full access to both 1st and 2nd floor meeting rooms. There are
more available than are listed on the wiki page in case folks need to call into
a different meeting or something. If there is an ONAP Developer event sign on
it and it isn’t on the wikipage it is fair game. I am trying to set up as many
regular Zoom bridges as I can, but probably only the first 4 will have a bridge
enabled. PLEASE NOTE: Facilitating the webinar will be my top focus through the
end of the event. I will leave meeting host login information for each bridge
in the corresponding room. Presenters will need to be self sufficient in terms
of both joining the associated zoom bridge AND for recording the session
locally on your laptop. I will run through how to upload saved files to the
wiki in a separate email.

Joining the room to the Zoom bridge:
From Zoom use the “call me” option and select France from the pull down. I will
also provide the phone number for each conference phone where I have a bridge
set up.

“Click Share” Video System:
Several folks had challenges using the Click Share dongles to access the video
screens in the breakout rooms. When you plug the dongle in follow the
instructions displayed on the video screens. You may need to use your native
OS file explorer to find the file the instructions reference.

Morning and Afternoon Session Breaks:
Refreshments at break-time will be available in the Ritchie Plenary Room where
the main sessions are being held. Yes, this means that if you are in one of the
break-out sessions you will need to walk over there for coffee and snacks.

T-Shirts & stickers:
Shirts will be handed out in the Matrice break-out room on the 1st floor after
lunch. I brought some LF sticker sheets with me and those will be available in
the break-out meeting lobby.

Schedule App:

Although we use this for a
larger conferences at the LF, this is a bit of an experiment for an event of
this kind. I will try to keep this updated as much as possible. Any feedback
is appreciated. When in doubt, go with what the wikipage says.

That’s about all I can think of at the moment.

[onap-discuss] [integration] RE: DCAE VES Collector CSIT Test Cases

2017-09-25 Thread Gary Wu
Hi Peter,

You need to make sure that your change is made on top of the latest commit from
the master branch.

Usually this can be done by doing a "git pull" before you make your change.
However, if your working directory already has other local commits, then this
won't work. In that case, you'll probably need to do something like "git reset
--hard origin" to completely remove your local commits (note that this will
blow away all your local changes!).

Thanks,
Gary

[onap-discuss] Paris F2F Meeting Update - For REMOTE Attendees

2017-09-25 Thread Kenny Paul
Things are relatively fluid as they tend to be with regards to these events. So
your patience and understanding is appreciated.

I am making every attempt to keep the wiki page as updates as possible with any
changes, however a couple things of note:

- Meeting owners are basically responsible for their own schedules at this
point. It is their prerogative to make changes. You should contact them if you
have some concern about a meeting.

- Zoom bridge information will appear in the meeting room header cell on the
spreadsheet, however not all meeting rooms will have an associated bridge.

- I am going to be facilitating the webinar for the main sessions. Break-outs
are being held in a different building than the main sessions. I will not be
able to go and track someone down for you if you cannot get in touch with a
meeting host..

Thanks about all I can think of.

I would recommend you remove the jobs by editing the JJB files in ci-management
folder. Andy and Jess (LF Release Eng) will review your change.

Hi Varun,

As DMAAP is a Gating project (AAF is not), that is where we should focus on.

The number of Red and Grey jobs in
Jenkins
is quite impressive. If there is no plan to use them for Amsterdam, let remove
them for Jenkins. That will declutter the place and help to see the what is
really important.

Gildas,
I reviewed M2-M3 TSC Update excel.

Thanks

[onap-discuss] [DMAAP] Jenkins Release Jobs

There are some release jobs in DMAAP which never ran successfully because

Dear Varun,

Is up to the PTL and the team to decide if they need a release branch or not.
I will disable these jobs for now since the branch is not existing, but hey can
always be brought back if the team thinks they would be needing a release
branch.

Will update you with the change soon.

An A&AI query example would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,
For VolTE use case, we need overlay tunnel SDC model to automate inter-DC
overlay tunnel configuration. I've raised a code review request to create new
normative type for overlay. You've mentioned that we need to discuss this in
team meeting, but unfortunately this week it seems to have canceled. Can you
please suggest how to take this to conclusion, given that code freeze deadline
is fast approaching? Please refer me whoever can help us to take this forward.

Hi All,

I was trying to instantiate a service, tutorial firewall, on k8s+Rancher. I get
this error.

Status: Error: Failed to get models from SDC.

Looked for DNS and I could ping MSO, VID, SDC from one another. Any clues?
Also, I see ~2 Hrs to get all containers to become ready. Is it normal?

Thanks,
