Hi Kanagaraj,

Show source on the Ref link page below will list the images console.html is
using (excerpt of current version I found just now listed below). These are the
old png images, not the ones being added in the patch set.
Changing console.html image directive references should resolve the issue.

Heat should fill those in if you use them. If that didn’t happen you may be
using older version of heat with newer version of robot. You can always put the

[onap-discuss] question on releasing docker image

2017-11-06 Thread JI, LUSHENG (LUSHENG)
Hi,

I have some questions on how to release docker images for R1 that I hope to get
help understanding.

By our daily release jobs, docker images are built and pushed to nexus3 server
with a version with timestamp: ${NAME}:${VERSION}-${TIMESTAMP}.
In addition, the job also tags the same image with an additional tag:
${NAME}:${VERSION}-latest . The uses of an image always refer to this “latest”
tag.

Which one should we notify the LF release team for releasing? The timestamped
one or the “latest”, or both?

Given the understanding the once an artifact is submitted, it cannot be
overwritten, how would the ${NAME}:${VERSION}-latest image be handled? For
example, will the release team retag the “latest” image to always point to the
newest released image?

Thanks,

Lusheng Ji

Re: [onap-discuss] AAI UI

2017-11-06 Thread Francis Paquette
Hi Abdelmuhaimen,

The search bar does not require any special syntax.

If your AAI is setup correctly and you have data populated, then you should
start to see suggestions as soon as you type characters.

for VNFs, you can do a search for "VNFs". The suggestion should show up and if
you have generic-vnf created, you will be able to see information on your
screen. The information on that screen will also be searchable.

Hi.

When I access AAI UI, there is a search box at the top. I tried several search
expressions but it always says it's wrong.

Is there any example showing the correct search syntax to use in this box ?

I don't find such an example in VIEW_INSPECT.MD and VNFS.MD, or is there ?

Re: [onap-discuss] [ONAP Helpdesk #45447] [integration] Maven repo precedence issue

2017-11-06 Thread Gary Wu
Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the investigation. At this point in the release cycle, I think the
better solution now is to just completely remove staging from settings.xml.
All teams should be formally releasing their artifacts by now, and we should no
longer be having any build dependencies on staging artifacts. This would
completely eliminate the precedence issue.

Thanks,
Gary

Subject: [ONAP Helpdesk #45447] [integration] Maven repo precedence issue

Dear Gary,

I was briefly talking with Andy about this ticket.

I made a test in the sandbox in where I am changing the values that
global-settings have as the active profiles. Basically, this file has the
releases, staging, snapshot active profiles described in that order. This file
controls the precedence of the repos where is going to do the downloads.

Here is a run on the job with that described global settings:
https://jenkins.onap.org/sandbox/job/integration-master-version-manifest-release-version-java-daily/2/console
This job downloaded the release version of oparent: 00:53:19 [INFO] Downloaded:
https://nexus.onap.org/content/repositories/releases/org/onap/oparent/oparent/0.1.1/oparent-0.1.1.pom
 (21 KB at 430.4 KB/sec)

I did a small test in which I removed the releases profile and the download
happened from the public repo:
https://jenkins.onap.org/sandbox/job/integration-master-version-manifest-release-version-java-daily/6/console

Another thing that Andy mentioned, is that whenever this download fails, the
log will report the last place where it looked for the binaries. For example,
if we ask the job to look into releases and then staging, if it fails it will
report the failure while looking into staging making the log look like it
didn't looked in releases even though it actually did. It just happens that
maven will report the failure making reference to the last profile it looked
into.

Let me know if you would like to make more tests with my setup, I can place the
jobs in the Sandbox for us to experiment more.

Thanks!
Jess

controls the precedence of the repos where is going to do the downloads.

Here is a run on the job with that described global settings:
https://jenkins.onap.org/sandbox/job/integration-master-version-manifest-release-version-java-daily/2/console
This job downloaded the release version of oparent: 00:53:19 [INFO] Downloaded:
https://nexus.onap.org/content/repositories/releases/org/onap/oparent/oparent/0.1.1/oparent-0.1.1.pom
 (21 KB at 430.4 KB/sec)

I did a small test in which I removed the releases profile and the download
happened from the public repo:
https://jenkins.onap.org/sandbox/job/integration-master-version-manifest-release-version-java-daily/6/console

Another thing that Andy mentioned, is that whenever this download fails, the
log will report the last place where it looked for the binaries. For example,
if we ask the job to look into releases and then staging, if it fails it will
report the failure while looking into staging making the log look like it
didn't looked in releases even though it actually did. It just happens that
maven will report the failure making reference to the last profile it looked
into.

Let me know if you would like to make more tests with my setup, I can place the
jobs in the Sandbox for us to experiment more.

Thanks!
Jess

Re: [onap-discuss] question on releasing docker image

2017-11-06 Thread Gary Wu
Hi Lusheng,

You should identify the time-stamped one. In fact, LF asks that you identify
the specific Jenkins job run that produced the artifact, e.g.
https://jenkins.onap.org/view/dcagen2/job/dcaegen2-platform-inventory-api-master-docker-java-shell-daily/52/.

Thanks,
Gary

Subject: [Onap-release] question on releasing docker image

Thanks,

Lusheng Ji
