Re: [onap-discuss] [SO] Exception on sending request to BPMN

2018-03-29 Thread Subhash Kumar Singh
Hello Rob,

Still I am not able to execute the workflow (throws 500 Internal server error),
the reason I am observing is that WorkFlowContext is populated in
WorkflowContextHolder class and it is causing NullPointerException.
Following is link for BPMN debug log (BPMN.log):
https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/xSQPyFKfXB/

Could you please help me to resolve this issue.

[onap-discuss] Policy usage for VOLTE use case on amsterdam release

2018-03-29 Thread Singh Kalra, Mandeep
Hi,

I have deployed the Amsterdam release using OOM kubernetes, which includes
the Policy module too.

I am trying to send the VFC onset message to Dmaap which is also reaching
the Policy as seen in the below in the drools container ::

  policy@drools-870120400-89089:/opt/app/policy/logs$ tail -f
network.log

[2018-02-01
10:04:09,000|UEB-source-unauthenticated.DCAE_CL_OUTPUT][IN|UEB|unauthenticated.DCAE_CL_OUTPUT]
{"requestID":"8c1b8bd8-06f7-493f-8ed7-daaa4cc481bc","target_type":"VM","AAI":{"service-instance.service-instance-id":"USUCP0PCOIL0110UJZZ01","vserver.prov-status":"example-prov-status-val-2","vserver.resource-version":"1504912891060","vserver.is-closed-loop-disabled":false,"vserver.vserver-name2":"example-vserver-name2-val-2","vserver.vserver-id":"example-vserver-id-val-2","vserver.vserver-selflink":"example-vserver-selflink-val-2","vserver.in-maint":true,"vserver.vserver-name":"example-vserver-name-val-2","generic-vnf.vnf-id":"5e49ca06-2972-4532-9ed4-6d071588d792"},"from":"DCAE","closedLoopAlarmStart":1484855291527925,"closedLoopEventStatus":"ONSET","closedLoopControlName":"ControlLoop-VOLTE-2179b738-fd36-4843-a71a-a8c24c70c55b","version":"1.0.2","target":"vserver.vserver-name"}

But I could not see anything triggered to VFC.

As indicated by Jorge I tried to move to 1.1.3 version of
Policy containers but still same issue was seen.
Jorge suspected that the policies are not pushed properly due to
which this issue is seen.

Can anyone please let me know if there are some steps missing ?

Mandeep

Re: [onap-discuss] [Onap-release] FYI - jackson-databind security fix 2.9.5

2018-03-29 Thread LUNANUOVA, DOMINIC (DOMINIC)
All

When I read thru the issue more, I noticed this comment by the author:
https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/1599#issuecomment-353157893
Which mentions that the “default typing” behavior is not the normal default for
this library.
So, I checked my repo by doing mvn dependency:tree and found that use of
Jackson-databind was from swagger-core library.
When I inspect swagger-core stable version
1.5.18 code,
I do not find calls to either of the methods shown in the Spring
Security
commit example to address this issue.
(this Spring Security example is cited by the IQ Server description of
SONATYPE-2017-0312 as a way to address the problem)
i.e.
the swagger code doesn’t contain a call to enable default typing, nor does it
explicitly set default typing whitelist.

My preliminary conclusion is that swagger is relying on Jackson-databind
default behavior, which, according to the author, shouldn’t suffer from the
vulnerability.
Curious if other projects have this same swagger dependency on Jackson-databind
and if we can eliminate this collective concern.

So, this requests:

- Review of my thinking

- If correct, some type of waiver for the vulnerability.

Unfortunetelly there is no real fix for this in any of the Jackson releases,

The blacklisting based fix is this

[onap-discuss] [ci-management]How to Dive into the CSIT Logs?

2018-03-29 Thread Guangrong Fu
Hi Jess,

We've been facing a problem for two days.

The CSIT job of Holmes started failing two days ago. One of our docker
containers dies immediately after it's spun up. But when I pulled the
docker image from the ONAP repo to my local machine and started it,
everything worked perfectly.

I want to take a dive into the docker container to see what happened, but I
failed.

What I remember is that we could find the logs within each docker container
in a file named archives.log.gz (
https://logs.onap.org/production/vex-yul-ecomp-jenkins-1/holmes-rule-management-master-verify-csit-sanity-check/22/)
in open-o. Since we switched to ONAP, it hasn't been working so far.

Your help is badly needed and sincerely appreciated. Any ideas?

I think we may need some more information. I assume the URL below is routing
through MSB? I am not terribly familiar with it. Does a direct url to the ip
address work? Can you turn on a more granular level of logging in logback on
the server side? Can you retry the transaction after doing so and post an
updated log? I see we are calling BPMN WAR directly? Or is this within the
APIH code?

Thanks

Re: [onap-discuss] Regarding Full ONAP installation

2018-03-29 Thread ANKIT ROHILLA
Hi,
I am stuck at a point.
I ran the cd.sh script and it created all the pods accordingly and all are
running fine (10 of them are stuck at pending state till the end).
All the Portal related pods are running well, there are no errors in that.
But according to the link:
*,
I need to have 4 different nodes (for sdc, policy, portal and vid) and the
IPs of these nodes are to be included in /etc/hosts file, so that I can
access the ONAP Portal.
Since, cd.sh did not create any node (it created just pods), what do I have
to do next to access portal?
Please help. I have no clue what to do now.

Thanks and Regards
Ankit

Re: [onap-discuss] [Onap-release] FYI - jackson-databind security fix 2.9.5

2018-03-29 Thread Nemeth, Denes (Nokia - HU/Budapest)
Dear All

Unfortunetelly there is no real fix for this in any of the Jackson releases,
since the fix merged blacklists certain classes that should not be deserialized.

The blacklisting based fix is this
https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/1599
which is included here:
Is only included in
2.7.9.3

Central

1

(Feb, 2018)

2.7.9.2

Central

6

(Dec, 2017)

2.7.9.1

and
2.8.11.1

Central

13

(Feb, 2018)

2.8.11

Central

102

(Dec, 2017)

2.8.10

Central

541

(Aug, 2017)

2.8.9

Central

643

(Jun, 2017)

2.9.X branch does not contain the fixes
https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson/wiki/Jackson-Release-2.9.5
The fix in 2.8 branch
https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/commit/60d459cedcf079c6106ae7da2ac562bc32dcabe1
is missing from 2.9
https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/blob/2.9/src/main/java/com/fasterxml/jackson/databind/deser/BeanDeserializer.java

I think there is not bullet proof solution for now.

Cheers Denes

For teams with CLM issues regarding 2.9.4 and lower, just 2 days ago they
released this version:

https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson/wiki/Jackson-Release-2.9.5

I am going to see if that clears my CLM issues for the policy projects.

Wish my luck.

Re: [onap-discuss] [CLAMP] Issue in designing a template

2018-03-29 Thread Closset, Christophe
Hi Nathan,

The version you are using is not yet released and has gone through several
changes, one of which is that the
design of templates is no more part of CLAMP in Beijing and has been moved to
SDC-DCAE D (where all the design activities happens) see
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/CLAMP+Beijing+Updates

If you want, you can use the Amsterdam version of CLAMP which still has the
template design

We are in the process of updating documentation to line up with the Beijing
changes

Christophe

Hi Everybody,

I am Ph.D. student and in this moment I am studying some orchestration
platforms, such as ONAP. I installed the CLAMP component towards understanding
better. I follwed the steps in
https://github.com/onap/clamp.
However, the Template Menu didn't show in the Closed Loop Modeler (figure
below). I already changed the user permissions, but the issue keeps. Any
suggestions?

Hello Kanagaraj,

It worked.

The onap-cli is really great. I have cleaned up my environment within 5 minutes
of time, where I took couple of hours to compose REST API DELETE requests.

Thanks a lot your help.
