Because of the lack of good audio in the breakout sessions (and really, in 
general), I think we can only come out of Montreal with proposals to bring back 
to the normal call for discussion and approval.  Not all key people were able 
to travel to Montreal unfortunately.  Deng, Andy, what do you think?

I drafted a reply to Lingli's clarifying question regarding what Anatoly was 
asking about the VNF onboarding model but didn't get it out to everyone in time 
on Zoom.

Michela had asked for status on mapping the VNF onboarding package to the 
internal model.

A while ago, Lingli had provided an example vcpe.  Anatoly wondered if there 
was an update to that example, or if what we had was still valid.

I also offered the opinion that it would be excellent to have one example from 
several vendors to see different ways that the onboarding standards might be 
getting interpreted or used.   Would that be possible?

May I suggest you leave pnf where it is in Casablanca, i.e., as a top level 
object only?  I would like to see the following model evolution and we have to 
first discuss it and see if we can target it to Dublin:

At the INFO model level, we have a Resource which has a subclass 
NetworkFunction.  The NetworkFunction can be subclassed into PNF, VNF, and 
Allotted NF.

At the DATA model level, to include the TOSCA global types used by SDC and the 
objects used in APIs and stored in inventory, there would be no subclassing of 
NetworkFunction.  Instead, the hierarchy would Resource->NetworkFunction.

NetworkFunctions would be distinguished by their relationship to other entities:
- PNF:  a NetworkFunction that requires a PNFDevice (which is located in a 
Complex (physical location))
- Allotted NF:  A NetworkFunction that requires a providing service (i.e., a 
service which produces NetworkFunctions for consumption by other services)
- VNF: a NetworkFunction that requires neither of the above

If you leave pnf as a top level object, your evolution path will be easier.

Many people (who would self nominate) are on vacation today, tomorrow, and some 
next week as well due to the July 4th Holiday and the beginning of summer.  I 
propose we follow what was done in TSC where we gave people extra time to  
nominate and to do the voting.
