Re: [onap-tsc] Release Naming

2017-05-19 Thread KLEIN, REUBEN
I think that Saigon might not be a good choice – I don’t think that’s an
official name now. How about Singapore instead?

Bin,
You need to provide a precise proposal and not descriptive.
Provide the names of the cities.

thanks
Mazin

Here is my input – Improve Option 1 to include all cities in general (instead

we are a global, all-inclusive community.

Given the great feedback that we have received, and since there is no charter
against the whole community to vote,
we will have the whole community vote for release naming!

All proposals are due to me by tomorrow.

Please do not vote through email. Just provide feedback in improving a
proposal or submitting a new proposal.
We will all vote next week.

Let’s be creative!

Actually, there is no charter against it, and I would suggest we have the whole
community (including non-voting TSC members) to vote for the release naming
options and specific names for each release (if there are multiple choices), as
it is common practice for other open source communities, e.g. Openstack and
OPNFV.

I believe only TSC members can vote, but that doesn’t mean ONAP contributors
can’t share their thoughts.
