Hi Shankar, It was pleasure working with you on OOF during R3/R4 timeframe. Yes, I guess our paths will cross again. Wish you the best in your future role.

Tomorrow July 9 is my last day. This is not really a goodbye since I expect to remain active in ONAP after a short vacation. Our commitments in the 5G SON use case are on track, and Krishna Moorthy will manage the work. We have discussed this and see no issues. I am proud of what our SON use case team has achieved since the early days of Casablanca release. We have developed a very solid foundation for ONAP-based SON, using centralized PCI and ANR applications as concrete examples. We had a strong and early focus on being aligned with ORAN/3GPP yang models and interfaces. The solution includes flows for FM/PM/CM notifications from the RAN, and a methodology for incorporating AI/ML, and we did our integration testing at the new Rutgers ONAP lab. We are thankful for the contributions from all the team members and the support from the TSC, PTLs, Arch / UseCase committees, and Rutgers Winlab. I will be joining another company and plan to remain active in the ONAP/ORAN space with the same objectives, which is to foster an open ONAP platform for mobile networks which is aligned with ORAN. I will share more information once I am established in that new role. I look forward to working with all of you!
