[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Online Payments

2019-01-16 Thread Forrest, Stuart
Hi

Do any of you have Evergreen set up where patrons can pay their fines through
your website, and how did you accomplish this and is it integrated with
Evergreen already. If could it be a development project?

Evergreen includes functionality to take payments online through Stripe,
PayPal, or Authorize.net. This can be done on a consortium level, a system
level, or a branch level. A number of our libraries are using it and all
have opted for Stripe. The library creates the account with their vendor of
choice, the vendor provides a public & private key, we add those keys in
the library settings editor, and it's good to go.

Hi Terran,

Thanks for the information, much appreciated. I looked at the library settings
and it seems pretty straight forward.

I will let our board know.

Thanks
Stuart
