Status of a patch to export built-in kernel module info to sysfs

2010-03-27 Thread Yangkook Kim
Hi, lkml list.

I'm from open-iscsi mailing list and want to know if somebody
already worked on a patch to export module information of
scsi_transport_iscsi module to sysfs when it is compiled
and built in kernel.

Digging through open-iscsi and lkml list, I found some discussions
about this issue at

http://groups.google.com/group/open-iscsi/browse_thread/thread/5d0fd37e7d6a606c/d42284704f3bdf95?lnk=gst&q=Rusty#d42284704f3bdf95

It looks like someone already made a patch but, can't find the one.

So, if you have any ideas about where I can find the patch, please
point it to me. Otherwise, I will make the one by myself.

Please include yangkook...@gmail.com or open-iscsi@googlegroups.com
at CC in reply since I am not subscribing lkml list.

Thanks,

Kim

Re: iSCSI target recommendation

2010-03-27 Thread Vincent Guo
I think EMC Iomega IX4-200d Storage Center is really a good one.

Re: iSCSI target recommendation - NexentaStor

2010-03-27 Thread Dmitry Yusupov
NexentaStor Community Edition is up to 12TB free, high-performance
in-kernel target integrated, just released - it is well tested with
Open-iSCSI, try it here:

Or buy ready to use hardware from solution builders:

Hey all. Could anyone suggest a good NAS that has about 2 to 6TB of
storage which is under 4k? its hard to find out whether these people
have tested with open-iscsi or not. So I was hoping some of you out
there who had used a storage device within this range would have some
opinions. Please tell me if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,
