Photoshop Design skills NOT required; familiarity with Photoshop for working with designer-supplied requirements is desired. Candidates must be familiar with recent trends in the web industry. They must be familiar with the best practices in a wide range of topics in fields such as SEO, Mobile Websites, Front end performance, Usability, Automated UI Testing, Organizing CSS, Semantic Web. An ideal candidate has worked (or experimented) with several javascript and css frameworks. They should be able to explain the architecture and philosophical differences between these frameworks. The ideal candidate would be able to look at a set of creative designs and quickly talk about how a websiteshould be done instead of just how it could be done.
