Design and develop custom SSRS reports. Design and develop custom web based applications using SQL Server, ASP.NET, and VB.NET. Work with business users and internal stakeholders to develop system requirements based on user needs. Provide technology insights and creative ideas for solving business problems. Maintain ongoing production ownership for all solutions. Prepare detailed technical design documentation. Troubleshoot and perform bug fixes. Participate in code walk throughs, testing and migration. Research root cause for issues and propose solutions. Perform unit and integration testing. Prepare user documentation and provide recommendations for user training and support. Facilitate and support Quality Assurance, Release Management, Regression, and User Acceptance testing. Coordinate with various software and hardware vendors for troubleshooting and release planning. Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* 5+ year’s software development experience using MS SQL SERVER, ASP.NET, VB.NET Knowledge of system development life cycle and tools Must have excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audience levels Strong analytical skills and creative problem solving abilities; proactively addresses obstacles and looks for ways to resolve issues. Team player with a passion to achieve results and collaborate with business and technical staff Ability to perform under tight time frames Experience in the retail industry is preferred Oracle DBMS, Magento, PHP experience is a plus!
