*Position – AWS Engineer *

*Location – Babylon, NY*

*Duration – 6-12+ months *

*Rate - $50/hr C2C*



*WILL HIRE OFF PHONE AND SKYPE.*



Cloud experience with AWS and Azure.



-  Experience working with Puppet and AWS CodePipeline

-  DevOps and Automation experience

-  Cloud security: Experience using AWS: IAM and Directory Service,
Config, Security Groups, VPC's, Subnets and VPN

-  IPsec Site2Site and the equivalent services in Azure.

-  General Security knowledge for the next: Linux (Selinux) and
Windows security, Middleware (Apache, PHP, Tomcat, JBoss and Fuse), and
java applications (Security side).

-  General knowledge for WAF, DDoS and Penetration test tools.

-  Experience working with tools for log analysis and alert
triggering; and connecting them to different monitoring tools (ELK, AWS
CloudWatch, Azure OMS and SCOM)

-  Understanding of infrastructure as a code concept and the
different requirements that involves it.

-  Configuration Management and Automation with different tools.

-  Command line experience calling services using API's and good
skills in 1 or 2 scripting languages.

-  Has a working knowledge of ITIL process



· Security certifications or training courses for any of the points
before. - Certification or training courses in configuration management or
automation tools. - Documentation skills: technical implementation,
process/workflows and diagrams. - Experience connecting different security
tools. - Able to work with Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket and with Agile
Boards, also Kanban Boards. - Experience working with ServiceNow and
connecting it with Atlassian tools. - Knowledge/experience of HIPPA
Compliant systems and Cloud.



· Some travel will be involved: 3-5 trips a year that should be 2-3
days long

*Role: Cloud/AWS Engineer Devops*

*Location: San Diego, CA*

*Duration: 6 Months *



*Key Areas of Responsibility: *



•Design, Deploy, and Support new and existing hardware in support
of current customers and future growth.

•Manage small to medium-sized projects and/or portions of large
projects and assist in resolving issues and planning for new network
services and connectivity.

•Provide level of escalation in response to incidents/requests
regarding network performance and configuration, including off hours
escalations.

•Maintain network documentation, run-books, diagrams, and network
assets in the configuration management database.

•Develop and continually improve guidelines and procedures related
to Network management including process and efficiency improvements.

•Monitor and tune network infrastructure to identify and eliminate
issues and potential bottlenecks.

•Prepare and review periodic reports related to performance and
capacity.

•Qualifications

•Required Skills and Qualifications:

•Experience with Software Defined Networking and network
configuration automation (Scripting with Pearl/Python/Bash or DevOps tools
like Chef/Puppet/Asible)

•Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, multicast,
VRF, QoS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP as well as Metro Ethernet and MPLS
connectivity/architecture, and application layer firewall implementation
and troubleshooting.

•Working knowledge of sniffer analysis, WAN optimization
appliances, and network monitoring tools/suites such as Solarwinds Orion
and Wireshark.

•Practical experience related to LAN, WAN, Infiniband, VPN, and
Load-balancer infrastructure in a Hybrid Cloud environment.

•Broad technical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and
platforms to include Nexus 7/5/2k, ASR 1k and 9k, vPC, OTV, and VDC
configuration.

•Strong understanding of IT production environments, operational
strategies and mission critical systems to include IT internal controls and
regulatory compliance.

•Experience with Disaster Recovery.

•8+ years of extensive hands on networking and troubleshooting
experience in large, distributed corporate environments.

•5+ years with LTM, GTM, ASM, and WAP (F5 and Palo Alto preferred).

•Experience with Linux

•Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)

•Ability to interact with executives, management, technical and
line-of-business staff.

•Participate in and guide architectural discussions. Design the
best Teradata Cloud solutions based on business needs.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Strategic thinker, ability to see big picture and develop roadmaps

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Results oriented team player who will work towards meeting team
commitments and ability to work within a cross-functional team.

•A passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer
satisfaction.

•Good organizational and time management skills to work on multiple
tasks/projects simultaneously.

•Ability to mentor technical operations staff in appropriate
technologies, as required.

•Ability to work in collaboration with product development
engineering teams
