Location: Herndon, VA Sr. Mainframe Developer About the Position: This position fills a development need for a new project that involves the MBS Pool application. The person hired will join a group of sr. cross-platform staff in designing and implementing changes to MBS Pool to support the new business functionality of pooling for portfolio for MultiFamily loans. The developer will work initially with an MBS Pool analyst to define the technical specs for this project, draft and conduct a review of the design document and code the necessary changes. After development is complete, this person would support testing and the migration to production. This person may also be asked to do other duties as necessary. Responsibilities: Submit all assigned project deliverables on time§ Design, develop, and integrate new code to match business requirements and with a high degree of flexibility and maintainability.§ Track and report project progress to management on a timely basis§ Report issues to management on a timely basis§ Perform other duties as needed§ Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Minimum of 5 years COBOL development on the IBM (TSO, OS/JCL, OS/MVS)§ Relational DBMS using IDMS and knowledge of OLQ and DMLO§ Other mainframe-based tools such as ADS/On-Line, CICS, and FileAid§ CM experience using Endevor§ Business analysis skills and a minimum of about 1 year relevant mortgage industry experience.
