Responsibilities: · The network engineer supports the elements (devices, tools, processes) for the client network infrastructure to ensure services are delivered to meet customer business needs and expectations, works with other teams on the design and installation of new IT infrastructure services, and recommends network designs and configuration improvements to conform to new industry trends as it applies to network and security design. · The role is also responsible for ensuring that the network and security devices are configured in compliance to the client’s security policies and requirements. · Tasks include providing first level support for resolution of customer's incidents, escalating and liaising with technologists and vendors to resolve requests/issues, ensuring the network environment continues to function according to its intended purpose (operational availability, performance, reliability, security, etc.) and according to the client’s security policies and standards, performing profiling and performance analysis, ensuring that the network hardware function properly (e.g., network devices OS updated with the latest patches and code releases), developing and maintaining updated the required network administration documentation, operations plans, network installation and configuration documentation, network design documentation. Primary Skills: · 4 – 5 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering · MPLS VPN, VOIP, Cisco Routing switching, Wan Optimizer, F5 load balancer, F5 VPN gateway (Edge), Cisco ASA firewalls and VPN gateways, Ipsec VPN (site-to-site and client to site), Cisco 3750 to 6500 switches, cisco routers series from 3800 to 7600 and ASR 1K. · Nexus 7k-5K-2k Switch configuration and design. · Cisco UCS architecture and Fabric interconnect. · VPC (Virtual Port-Channel) and FCoE(Fiber Channel over Ethernet). checkpoint firewall configuration and design. Silverpeak WAN optimizer deployment. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP design/deployment. · Spanning tree troubleshooting. MPLS VPN and Traffic Engineering configuration. Preferred: · Hospital background is advantage · Candidate needs to be young and energetic to pick up and adapt and work in sudden situations. · Hospital environment can be depressing and hence we need motivated individuals.
