*Job Description* *Network Security Engineer*
*Work Location: Durham, NC* *Start Date : ASAP* *Duration : 12-18 months*. Experience in a technical service delivery role for IT security solutions responsible for: Gathering and analyzing business requirements Implementation, Deployment, Migration, Transition/Transformation Broad deployment and design experience. Will assist with site moves. Will need to capture existing configs, arrange move of equipment, design new deployment and deploy security systems. Design experience. Strong Firewall skills. Palo Alto Networks experience preferred. Strong Switch / Routing experience. Firewall skills. RedSeal Networks experience preferred Security tools experience. Mac and Windows experience. Broad work experience. Carbon Black experience preferred Strong security SOC background Technical expertise in Palo Alto technologies required. Expertise in the deployment and use of Algosec firewall automation and management tools. Strong technical experience with a diverse set of security technologies: Firewalls Intrusion Detection / Protection Identity & Access Control Load Balancers Malware Analysis Excellent documentation skills relating to RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, etc. Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical) surrounding complex security solutions Experience managing remote and leveraged resources across multiple business and technical silos Strong communication skills to accurately represent and convey information both in verbal and written.
