*Duration: Contract to hire 3 to 6 months* Must be US Citizen or Green Card holders *Senior Quality Engineer* We are seeking innovative a Senior Quality Engineer who guides technology teams to ensure the quality delivery of applications and infrastructure components. *Focus*: Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to engineers on testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes - Responsible for providing strategic guidance to development teams, driving quality deliverables through automation including tools, process, measurement, environment and data. - Delivers and drives automation strategy. · Defines and architect’s prototypes as a concrete representation of the product. · Ensures linkage with infrastructure to ensure project connectivity. · Reviews progress and makes recommendations for areas of opportunities/improvements for automation & tool usage. · Continuously, aligns with project/application architects on test infrastructure. Serves as point of contact for escalation and issues. - Is skilled in Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) capabilities. *Key Responsibilities: * - Delivers and drives automation and test strategies - *Focus on optimization and virtualization including developing strategy for automation and testing processes, tools and methodologies at the portfolio or for large/complex products * - Accountable for all testing activities aligned to the portfolio - Typically align to senior technology management and partners with leaders to drive continuous improvements in operational quality and performance - Works with development resources to drive improvements in overall quality, automation and testing processes and techniques - Able to share technology subject matter expertise with architects and other engineers across the portfolio and other organizations - Ability to adapt solution architecture to meet broader needs of the enterprise, solving unique problems that span multiple technology platforms - Routinely reviews and introduces new and impactful technologies based on research, POC efforts and independent investigation - Regularly provides specialized technical guidance to others in work area - Responsible for architecting portfolio solutions for Automation and Testing, working to existing standards or driving new ones - Drive innovation and manage product development needs within a fast paced, agile environment - Assist in the recruitment of IT professionals with business and industry experience, and develop, reward and energize a competent, effective team within the technology organization - Engage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps - Collaborate with a wide variety to stakeholders within business and technology teams to drive change required to execute product roadmaps - Drive and deploy the CD/CI capabilities for the portfolio - Gather, collate and report Quality Metrics to management. - Identify patterns and opportunities from the metrics to drive innovation and improvement Offer of employment with Client is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred - 5+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, performance tests, and managing defects - Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration technologies. Responsible for providing strategic guidance to development teams, driving quality deliverables through automation including tools, process, measurement, environment and data. - Proven experience attracting, hiring retaining and leading top engineering talent and high performance product engineering teams - Experience with Agile - Is skilled in Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) capabilities. - Experience in working with HP Quality Center and testing automation tools - Experience with coding skills across a variety of platforms - Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB - are a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
