 I don’t have a very detailed description but I can tell you that we need
someone with 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Consultant.
There is a ServiceNow Administrator Certification that we’d like to see and
if you find someone with that cert, we’re willing to talk to him/her
regardless of other experience.  Would prefer that they’re actually
developing on the SN Platform and not just an admin or support person.
This person will be customer facing so communication is big.  30% travel if

Our client is a major IT solutions provider that has offices worldwide.
They have just landed a major project with one of their clients and is in
need of several resources.



*This position is for a Sybase DBA *

*Responsibilities:*

1. Manage all database objects in a large mission critical s ystem.
2. Be able to provide end to end DBA support system and application side.
3. Analyze and resolve complex technical problems regarding the integration
of object-oriented applications and infrastructure with relational database
technology (Sybase).
4. Monitor databases and performs tuning enhancements to optimize their
performance.

Develop and maintain utilities to automate problem determination, change
implementation, and monitoring activities.
5. Participate in data-sourcing, import and data validation activities.
6. Provide database change and release management.

*Sybase Requirements/Qualifications:*
- 4+ years of professional experiences in Sybase administration. Prefers
(5-7 years)
- Work experience in both system and application DBA.
- Provide technical expertise in database area throughout the life cycle of
the projects such as preparing database objects, refreshing databases from
production to lower envi ronment, migrating database objects from one
environment to the other in accordance to SDLC.

*Experience/ Skills Requirements *5+ years of experience with ServiceNow
platform as a developer&nbs p;
5+ years of experience building integrations with various cloud and on
premise applications
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow orchestration manager
Experienced in J2EE, Java Servlets, JMS, EJB, Design Patterns, Web services
and building integration projects using any integration tool.
Proficient in the Agile SDLC development
Experience working with REST and SOAP services
Solid hands-on experience in architecting and developing with SOAP and REST
web services, open API development, and SOA concepts.
Solid understanding of integration design patterns
