Job Title: Web services developer Position Type: 6 MONTHS WITH EXTENSIONS Location: DALLAS FORT WORTH, TX Description: Assist a very senior development team with conversion of the current common service to web service. This set of common services provides integration with critical back end system for a large number of customer facing systems including the Client system. Responsibilities: .Web service interface definition .Test driven development of web services using java and CXF. .Assisting other groups with adoption of the common web services. .Assist team with construction of unit and services level tests. .Assist our Managed Service provider with troubleshooting of our services in WAS 6.1 .Containers running on 64 bit Redhat Linux 5.1. Qualification: General: .Candidate should have minimum of 5year of experience designing, developing, and implementing large scale application. .Strong problem analysis and resolution skills. .Individual must have a good understanding of enterprise technologies such as security, network, databases, integration, and application technologies for distributed systems. .Candidate must have an in depth knowledge of the WAS 5.x or later platform and supporting technologies such as JSP, JNDI, JAXP, JMS, JDBC, CMP. .Familiar with SOA technologies. Required Technical Experience: .3yrs of hands on experience with websphere application server 5.x or later, including configuration, implementation, and deployment of application. .5yrs of hands on experience with OO languages (C++,Java,etc) .Experience with Web service interface design. .Working knowledge with XSD,XSLT, and WSDL. .Is proficient with Ant and unix scripts. .Good working knowledge with Java 1.4/1.5 using IDE's like eclipse or equivalent. .2yrs experience utilizing relational database in application.
