*Job Details:* *Job Title : Senior (Java Performance) Software Engineer* *Location : Dayton, OH* *Duration : 12+ Months Contract* *Job Description:* This is open to C2C but US Citizens and Green Card holders are preferred. This is a 12+ month contract in *Dayton, OH.* Local candidates are preferred but they will consider out of town candidates and Skype interviews are OK. *We have an immediate need for Senior (Java Performance) Software Engineer for a 12+ month contract located in Dayton, OH.* *Education/Experience:* - Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required - *8-10 years of experience required* - *2+ years of experience of performance monitoring and tuning* *Responsibility level:* - Work collaboratively as part of an Agile team, yet exercise independent judgment requiring minimal direction from manager *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:* - Work in small, agile teams to design, prototype and build new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools - Collaborate with product owner to identify and prioritize performance related product requirements - Collaborate with external teams on performance bottlenecks and dependencies - Leverage personal expertise/experience to provide recommendations and constructive feedback in order to ensure a high performing quality product - Design, develop and document application and framework code in Java and JavaScript and other front end technologies - Ability to write robust, high-performance, java code for our front-end applications. - Analyze root causes of performance related issues, implement resolution steps - Work with internal performance QA teams on system, performance and acceptance testing - Quickly adapt to changes, and work with team to assist in creation and implementation of those changes *Technical Requirements:* - Familiarity with agile/iterative development methodologies (XP, SCRUM, etc.) - Strong object-oriented design and Java programming skills, including experience with leading open source frameworks such as Spring, JQuery and Junit - Strong Performance specific requirements including JVM tuning, concurrency, responsive user interface - Proven ability to implement industry best practices - Knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies for the browser (HTML, XML, CSS, JSON) (3+ years) - Experience using several RESTful APIs to build out a single page - Real-world experience building very large scale, high availability applications - Strong understanding of container management (Apache, JBoss, Jetty) - Solid relational DBMS skills using SQL server, Oracle MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle or other DBMS products - Experience interfacing with REST web services - Working knowledge of development tools such as Eclipse, GIT, and Maven - Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools - Knowledge of Cloud frameworks a plus - Experience with AngularJS a plus - Working experience with statistics and reporting a plus - Working experience with scripting languages python, Perl, ruby a plus *General Requirements:* - Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must - Strong ability to work independently and to manage one’s time - Able to quickly research and prototype ideas and present findings to the team - Ability to work with distributed teams in a dynamic, iterative development process - Able to give rough work estimates and strive to complete tasks by the deadline - Exceptional problem solving skills and innovative thinking - Quickly learn new skills/technologies and adapt to ever changing environment - Produce high quality code and a desire for continuous personal improvement *Thanks & Regards* *Nilesh Awadhiya* *Sage Group Consulting, Inc.* *3400 Highway 35, Suite # 9, Hazlet, NJ 07730 * *Office: 732-767-0010 X 227* *Direct: 732-658-5828* *Fax: 732-658-5828* *Email : nawadh...@sagetl.com <nawadh...@sagetl.com>* *Website : www.sageci.com <http://www.sageci.com/>* *Gtalk: nilesh.awadhiya |Yahoo IM: n_awadhiya* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
