*Role: Monitoring SME with Solarwinds and Netcool expertise* *Location: **Dublin, Ohio* *Duration: 6+ months* *Job Description:* · Support an enterprise-class suite of monitoring, alerting, and event management tools including Solarwinds, IBM Impact, Netcool/OMNIbus, BMC’s EUEM, and MIR3 · Resolve incidents, enhancements, and requests via Service Now while meeting stated SLAs · Create and maintain documentation for the supported tools. · Applies an understanding of event correlation to assist in logical alerts and root cause analysis efforts · Acts as primary or secondary in an on-call rotation for run-related issues or events · Engage application and infrastructure teams to establish monitoring baselines · Identify re-occuring requests/issues and develop methodologies to automate and reduce ticket volume Required Skills and Experience · 2+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring and alerting · One or more of the following : o Proficiency in SQL queries to facilitate report generation and large data mining tasks o Proficiency in scripting with Perl and/or PowerShell o Experience with Solarwinds (specifically NPM, SAM, SRM, NTA, and VMAN modules) o Experience with IBM Impact (6.1 or later) and Netcool/OMNIbus (7.1 or later) · Knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems: o Windows o Linux · Solid understanding of networking concepts · BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of peers, managers, and subject matter experts *Sarita Datti | Technical Recruiter* *DeegitTM Inc | Technology Consulting* *1900 E Golf Rd., Suite 925 | Schaumburg, IL 60173* *Phone (847) 440 2436 Ext. 350* *Email sar...@deegit.com <sar...@deegit.com>* *Skype saritasari510* *www.deegit.com <http://www.deegit.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
