*Job Description*

Responsible for handling network printer related tickets.

Responsible for handling Patch management, Antivirus management, Asset
management.

Handle escalations, VIP incidents and SLA breaches

Maintain Anti-Virus and Patch upgrades, patches etc.,

Maintain and Administer Tivoli End Point Manager

Knowledge of administering OS image management and deployment related
activities



*Skillset:*

Understanding of ITIL V3

Understanding of Desktop & Laptop backup

Tivoli Asset Management; R-Admin; IBM Big Fix tool;

Understanding of GoTo Meeting, McAfee, Wavelink etc.,

Certified Microsoft MCP / MCTS

Proficiency with Desktop Support related tools.

Microsoft SMS/SCCM; VMware View Manager 4.1

Position: Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: 3+ months



*Job Description*

Responsible for Configuration Management, Change Management, Systems
Availability Monitoring, Incident and Problem Management related to End
User computing.

He is also responsible for Requirement gathering, estimation and
documentation.

Handle coordination and implementation of Merger and acquisition projects
related to End user computing.

Proactive problem analysis and interacting with system users in order to
identify the issues related to performance, connectivity etc.

Perform root cause analysis and propose implementation plan which helps to
improve performance, reduce integration cost and fix the problem
permanently.

Client management activities that includes regular meeting with client
managers to provide status updates, review task   Researching, planning,
and recommending administrative system and software choices to satisfy the
organizations business requirements.

Recommending the need for new software and hardware systems to the customer.

Skills Required :

.Knowledge about tools such as AD, McAfee, Virtual Machine, Citrix, Dame Ware 
is a must.
.Familiarity with VDI, App-V, SCCM would be preferred.
. Ability to configures and deploys desktop environments in accordance with the 
agreed standard configuration to authorized users.
. Should have knowledge about OU, Domains and Imaging.
. Ability to troubleshoot network printers.
. Experience of desktop support in a production floor.
. Ability to install or removes hardware and / or software using supplied 
installation instructions and tools.
. Capable of conducting tests of the hardware and/or software affected using 
supplier test procedures and diagnostic tools. Corrects malfunctions. Documents 
results in accordance with agreed procedures.
. Ability to work well with others.
. Ability to adapt and maintain a positive attitude in an ever changing 
environment.
. Organizational skills with emphasis to perform follow-up.
. Previous help desk experience desired.
. Excellent customer services skills, focused on service delivery and quality 
of work.
. Strong written and oral communication skills.
. Knowledge of Service Management tools and processes.
. Sound decision-making ability regarding matters of moderate to high 
complexity and importance.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems 
logically and systematically.
. Self-motivated; Ability to work independently on matters of moderate to high
