* * *Position : Sr. Project Manager* *Location : San Francisco CA* *Duration : 4 -6 + Months Contract.* * * *Job Description:-* * * *RUP Is must.* *The Sr. Project Manager provides Project Management activities in support of : * • Role Mgt & Alliance Partner work stream, to plan, track and deliver the implementation of 15+ application interfaces. • Day to day operational project responsibilities. • Project Status reporting. • Work with Amgen staff and contractors to deliver the project on time. • Follow Amgen processes such as RUP for project delivery. • Create, manage, track and execute on project schedules. • Partner closely with the Program Lead BA and other program team members as necessary. • Partner closely with the Test COE, Quality group, program manager and other PM support resources. • Partner with application teams and possibly project managers working on individual applications. • Partner with outsourced infrastructure teams. • Understand and track Regulated documentation processes. • Understand and track change control processes. • Responsible for weekly project status reporting. • Timely identification/mitigation of issues/risks – work with functional leads to facilitate identification, mitigation, and resolution of issues and risks. • Strong work breakdown structure (WBS) development, management and tracking skills • Requirement for strong multi-project dependency tracking and reporting to ensure schedule change impact assessment is managed • Advanced Microsoft Project skills and experience utilizing master/sub-project capabilities. • Any other tasks as appropriate and needed for project delivery. Skill sets – Requires & Desired • Strong Project Management & Communication skills. • Application Analysis background. • Deep systems integration delivery background is a plus. • Client Interaction.
