ontology, information models, archetypes - a perspective

2006-01-07 Thread Thomas Beale

Dear all,

for those interested in how ontologies (like snomed-ct for example),
information models (like openEHR RM), and mediating elements
(archetypes, templates) can be understood in perspective, I have
produced a short powerpoint slideshow on the topic. See
http://www.deepthought.com.au/health/tb_ontologies.ppt.

ontology, information models, archetypes - a perspective

2006-01-07 Thread Gerard Freriks
Thomas,

Thanks.

What you are saying is:
- we have the real and other worlds with objects and our present
understanding of it,
- and we have the world where we document what has happened or will
happen.

Gerard
