[Openerp-community] OpenERP launchpad bug list ?

Hi everyone,

After seeing Alexandre Fayolle starting to replicate LP bug reports into
GitHub, I want to know where is the previous launchpad bugs reports list.

All projects are redirected from:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-addons
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-server/
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openerp-web/

to:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/bugtrackers/odoo-bugs
*Bugs are tracked in Odoo bugtracker

Where no bug reports list can be found:
"To lookup old bugs you can search via Google or via
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject";

According to the transition wiki page:
"LP bugs stay on LP, but no new ones. New bugs = GitHub issues"

That was a mistake on my side. The intent was to replicate only the bug
reports for things fixed in OCB and not merged in Official. After
discussing this with Stefan Rijnhart and Raphael Valyi, we came to the
conclusion that just resubmitting the MP and PR should be enough and
that we would script this.

My appologies for the noise and inconvenience which my attempt caused.

Painful I agree. Not sure if the Odoo team can do much about this
though. Migrating the bug base and MP base to github would have been
nice, but I'm not sure this will happen.

Okay, so I hope that hiding the "old" bug list is not a way to make a
massive clean on the previous brand name for the new one.

If I quote a mail I sent to Anthony Lesuisse / Community (28 Jan.2014:
OpenERP RD developments, NIH syndrome and strategy):
Antony, are you planning a "bug hunt" or "bug cleaning" event or something
like this before releasing this new version ?
Because, there are so many "confirmed" / "fix committed" bugs assigned to
openerp-dev-*, it would be disappointing to see them set as "Won't Fix"
after the new release with a pasted message like "As per our bug management
policy we can not consider bug [...]"

So please OpenERP SA, find a way to easilly retrieve LP bug tracking data,
and I insist on the tracking word, without having to use the "google search
trick".
I'm not talking about migrating bug reports, but at least having a list
somewhere (wiki ?) with all existing bug reports (fixed, new, etc.) for
each project (server, addons, web).

The top of the transition page is just a summary with links to more detailed 
sections further down the page. The bug reports section is here:

   https://github.com/odoo/odoo/wiki/GitHub-Transition#bug-reports

Quoting that section:
"It will still be possible to search through the old LP bug reports via google 
or via the umbrella "project group"[https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject]. 
Direct links to bug reports will still work as well."


We certainly do not want to duplicate all the old bug reports on the GitHub 
bugtracker, what a mess and work duplication that would be. Linking Pull 
Requests to LP bugs works just fine.




All my existing launchpad filters are not working anymore:


Those filters should more or less continue to work if you replace the various 
projects with the umbrella "openobject" project group at the beginning of the URL.
